After the hard combat on the frontline of paranormal emancipation, anarchy reigned supreme. During the conflict, All For One managed to take control of Shigaraki while his troops launched an assault on the Tartarus jail in an effort to free the group’s core members and any other captives. Kaina Tsutsumi, one of the main antagonists of the Tartarus Escapees Arc, and numerous other villains from earlier in the series were presented in the previous episode.
When did previous events occur in My Hero Academia?
The previous episode opened with Shigaraki, the current leader of All For One, leading the Near High-Ends army in an assault on Tartarus jail in an effort to release the organization’s main body and other captives. Infamous offenders are typically sentenced to life in jail at Tartarus Prison, which is famed for its extreme security. But Shigaraki and his troops were able to breach the major defences and gain entry. Shigaraki tries to regain physical control during the pandemonium, but All For One’s influence is greater; All For One instructs Shagarki to relax and declares that he will become “the next me.” The inmates take advantage of the power outage caused by Shagaraki to cause mayhem and escape. Kaina Tsutsumi, Moonfish, and Stain can all be found in the jail population, as can Muscular.
After reconciling, Shigaraki orders the convicts to join All For One, who boasts that he will become the greatest Demon Lord. In response, All For One sends Nomu on an assault on seven further prisons, six of which are successfully attacked and their captives released. Spinner meets Shigaraki after he has returned to bed and informs him that he has decided to follow him rather than the one who is controlling his body. When Bakugo regains consciousness in the hospital, his friends fill him in on what has happened during the conflict. We then cut to Gran Torino and Eraser Head, both of whom are alive despite their wounds but in extremely precarious health. In the meanwhile, protesters have encircled the hospital, calling for Endeavor and the other heroes to respond. Shoto, now healed from his wounds, decides to put an end to his brother Dabi. In the last moments of the episode, All For One watches over a sleeping Midoriya.
