Is 50k enough to live in USA?

You’ve just been offered a position in your profession, and it pays $50,000 a year. Feel free to throw a party. But after you’ve gotten your feet back on the ground, you can rapidly find yourself asking the all-important question: is $50,000 a good annual income? Of course, there’s more to it than that. Numerous factors are involved. As of January 2019 (the most recent month for which data is available), the median yearly income in the United States was $63,608. Of course, you want to go for the stars and make a lot more money as your career develops. But let’s take a closer look at this $50,000 starting pay and ask ourselves… Is this a fair wage? But as a rule of thumb, $50,000 a year is a respectable pay. It’s sufficient for maintaining one’s current quality of life while yet leaving some wiggle space for future savings and investment. In reality, in America, a yearly income of $50,000 places one squarely in the middle class. You’re doing really good if you compare yourself to other Americans.
