The next episode of Boruto, number 284, will air on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. JST. The episode will be shown on TV TOKYO and other local Japanese channels, as well as on Crunchyroll, Funimation, Hulu, and VRV, among other international streaming platforms. In the previous episode of Boruto, it was revealed that Sakura had accompanied Sasuke to Redaku to help him in his research. In spite of Sasuke’s pleadings, she stayed away from home. They eventually found evidence that might be useful in their inquiry.

Sakura’s plan will be put into effect in episode 284 of Boruto when she blocks the Redaku messenger from accessing Zansul’s room. Then she plans to see Zansul in person by disguising herself as the courier. During this time of the diversion, Sasuke will go to the hidden chamber of Zansul that Ganno told him about. The challenge of finding Naruto’s remedy is already difficult, and what he will first learn will only add to the uncertainty rather than give a solution. In Boruto episode 284, Sasuke and Sakura will make significant progress toward their goal of finding the meteor containing the Ultra Particles.
A brief review of what happened in the last episode.
At the start of Boruto episode 283, jail guards tormented Sasuke, perhaps at Zansul’s behest. Zansul reasoned that Sasuke must have assaulted Meno because he intended to punish him. Inmate Ganno mentioned later that day that Zansul’s chamber has a hidden cellar. Sasuke, taking advantage of everyone else’s slumber, snuck out of his cage to scour the area for further clues. Nonetheless, Meno attacked, clawing at him with his poisoned talons. Sakura rescued everyone by swatting the monster away with a cloth pass.
After Sasuke regained consciousness, Sakura informed him about the Map of the Heavens, which she said revealed the whereabouts of the Ultra Particles necessary to aid Naruto. After then, Jiji found out that Sasuke had married Sakura, despite his earlier promises not to tell anybody. The following day, Sakura visited the library and, after a little bit of gambling with Penzila, won the keys to the basement, where the Map of the Heavens was kept. Sasuke and Sakura went to the basement that night and found the book. It had pictures of stars on it, but nobody could figure out how that would help them. The next step in Sakura’s inquiry was to plot an unauthorised entry into Zansul’s workplace.
