Summary of Kengan Omega Chapter 192
While Gaoh may feel trapped, Koga is committed to helping him make a genuine transformation. While Buddy, I feel you were a part of the evil that’s causing Gaoh’s pain, Setsuna continues to exist in his own fantasy world, where he claims he will vanquish the forces of evil harming Ouma and Gaoh. You wouldn’t believe how watered down this man is. And to be quite honest, Satsuma is also a tough character at this point in the tale, so I don’t have high hopes for him either as he tries to battle the man he alluded to a few chapters back. He’s gone off his rocker for far too long for there to be any hope of a comeback for him. Since his time as Kenga Ashura’s major antagonist is over, he is no longer a viable candidate to play that role in Kenga Omega.
So, what is Setsuna’s ultimate goal? Who knows if the Worm will kill him, if he and Ouma will fight again and Ouma will finally teach Gaoh his place, or if Gaoh and Setsuna are simply setting up a mentor-apprentice battle. Since Kengan Ashura, and other than his haircut, Setsuna hasn’t really grown anything as a character, therefore it’s hard for us to care about him. I, for one, have lost all interest in him. Without further ado, the competition continues as Rihito (sometimes spelt with an ‘R,’ sometimes with an ‘L,’ I’ve given up trying to keep up) takes the stage. It’s wonderful to have a major player like Wakatsuki call the action; he predicts early on that Rihito will win since he’s more powerful and skilful than Koga. Koga walks in, and you can see he’s been in a few fights because both of his hands are bandaged. Despite this, he gives Rihito a fist bump, so it looks like they get along. The chapter concludes with the start of the conflict.

If by “skilled” they mean that he is the superior fighter, then I agree with them; but, if by “skilled” they mean that he is more adept at learning and executing new forms of martial art, then it seems obvious that Koga is the superior fighter. Koga is in a position to graciously lose this fight: he is the underdog, he has been in a number of exciting bouts previously in the tournament, and his hands are significantly affected, so that should be a major role. I have no idea how or why I think he will prevail, but I do.
