Fans of the anime series Overlord have been eagerly anticipating the release of Overlord Season 5 ever since the final episode of the fourth season of the show was released on September 27, 2022. In addition, a movie that will be based on the “Holy Kingdom Arc” is now being made. The tremendous popularity of the Overlord manga served as the impetus for the creation of an anime version of the series, and all three of the most recent seasons have been immensely successful.

Albedo lauds Renner for her revelation. Renner reveals her real, dark self by getting ready to make Climb eternal before making love to him. She is overjoyed that the two of them will now be able to be together for the rest of their lives. When Albedo pays Phillip a visit, he shows him the decapitated heads of Phillip’s former colleagues. Then, Albedo reveals that before he passed away, his father urged her to punish Phillip for his selfishness and folly, which led to the destruction of the entire kingdom. As a result, she begins the process of torturing Phillip to death. In the destroyed capital, Ainz has a meeting with Marquis Raeven and the nobles of his party.
As a reward for their allegiance, Ainz offers them control over the captured region as vassals of the Sorcerous Kingdom. Ainz is pleased with the outcome because he believes that the world now realises that it should never again stand in his way. Overlord could have a fifth season, according to the narrative, but the decision on whether or not to produce it will take some time. As of January 2023, the publication of the Overlord light novel has not yet been completed. On the other hand, the author, Kugane Maruyama, has said unequivocally that the final book of the series would be volume 18. The first four seasons of the show are based on volumes 1 through 11 and a portion of volume 14, while the future movie, Overlord: Holy Kingdom Arc, will adapt volumes 12 and 13.
