The second cour of the season and the Villain Hunt/Tartarus Escapees arc of My Hero Academia season 6 begins with episode 14. The season returns from a hiatus with an episode that both recaps the first cour and reveals previously unexplored aspects of the battle. There are two new songs in this episode: EVE’s “Bokura no (Our)” as the opening theme, and Six Lounge’s “Kitakaze (North Wind)” as the closing theme. Assuming a 10-chapter finale for the Paranormal Liberation War arc and a 22-chapter finale for the Tartarus Escapees arc, the remaining 11 episodes of this season will wrap up both storylines. In episode 14 of season 6 of My Hero Academia, “Hellish Hell” is the episode’s title.
The heroes are having trouble as the villains are getting back together in the new opening and closing for episode 14 of My Hero Academia’s sixth season. Episode 14 of Season 6 of My Hero Academia opens with a flashback. The Public Safety Commission arranged to meet with Re-Destro before hostilities broke out in an effort to forge a commercial arrangement with him. Nonetheless, Re-Destro was attacked by the Commission’s head honcho herself, proving the whole thing to be a deception. A Twice-clone posing as Re-Destro was responsible for the defeat of the Commission’s officers and the president’s death. Both the Gunga and the Jaku operations were conducted despite a breakdown in the Commission’s chain of command.
The season 6 premiere of My Hero Academia provided a concise recap of the events of the first cour. Uraraka and the other heroes maintained their rescue efforts even after Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki were carted off the pitch in critical condition with Endeavor and the other Pro-Heroes. Since the fight in Jaku, the hero students, notably Uraraka, have seen the terrible consequences of violence. Class 1-A was devastated by the news of Midnight’s death in the Gunga Mountains.
Even more devastating was the news that Majestic had also perished. Some bad guys got away, but most were apprehended. But as the people’s confidence in the heroes was undermined, they grew to loathe them, especially Endeavor. The merged Shigaraki/AFO enjoyed the disorder, and AFO’s actual body in Tartarus learned about this. His actual body was imprisoned, and he urged his disciples to free it.
The World in the Wake of War
Kyudai Garaki was arrested for many misdeeds, as shown in episode 14 of season 6 of My Hero Academia. Capturing Gigantomachia, we swiftly flew her to safety. Mr Compress was taken into custody and hospitalised; he is still unconscious at this time. In Iron Maidens, the Nomus were immobilised. The abandoned medical supplies at Jaku Hospital were taken as evidence. A total of seven Nomus were taken by Shigaraki, Dabi, Spinner, and Toga, but they managed to get away. Despite claims to the contrary from eyewitnesses, the Commission and the heroes engaged in the Jaku event have denied any involvement on the part of the hero students.
Edgeshot battled and captured Re-Destro in the Gunga Mountains, while Cementoss locked up Getten. Even Koku Hanabata was taken into custody. There were a total of 16929 attendees in the Gunga Mountains assembly, and just 132 are still at large. As the battle progressed, numerous PLF strongholds were discovered and their inhabitants were captured. People who helped the Front from the background were also captured. Garaki claims that Shigaraki was already dead when the heroes rescued him from the chamber since his growth was so stunted. Everyone thought that the electricity that touched the liquid was what brought him back, but in reality, the current was far too faint. His profound loathing was the one thing that had kept him alive. Countless heroes fell in this fight, while many more just resigned in disgust.
Observations
The Hero community is in shambles, what with the Public Safety Commission in chaos and two of its most important heroes out injured. They’re losing members and morale, and public opinion is turning against them. While the bad guys ultimately lost the battle, they were successful in their mission to disrupt the normal social order. They undermined the heroes’ messiah complex, making them easy prey for AFO’s manipulation. My Hero Academia: Tartarus, Part 14 suggests, is one such location. AFO has decided to stage a jailbreak in order to free his own body from the maximum security facility.
While Spinner may have lost faith in AFO, his worries centre on Shigaraki. The fourteenth episode of My Hero Academia’s sixth season features a memory from Deku in which he says that Shigaraki appeared helpless. This emotion is what pushes Deku to learn more about who he is and his responsibility to the bad guys in the manga. Furthermore, his already irresponsible propensity towards self-endangering will expand by leaps and bounds now that he knows OFA cannot be removed from him. The new credits music alludes to this as well.
Concluding Remarks
Despite the fact that episode 14 of My Hero Academia season 6 doesn’t have the same effect as the manga’s sluggish pace, it nevertheless manages to present a terrible image of the aftermath of battle. Due to a lack of resources, the hospitals can only prioritise treating those with the greatest likelihood of survival, and the sheer volume of injuries prevents the heroes from reaching everyone in time. Several heroes are driven to abandon their tasks by the constant din of gunfire, the stench of death, and the sight of their fallen friends.
Ochako Uraraka’s photographs depict this spectre with unsettling clarity.
As the episode opens, Uraraka is determined to assist everyone she can, but by the episode’s conclusion, she has accepted the fact that she will not be able to. Her gradual decline into despair ends when she sees a Pro-Hero decide to stop being a Hero. Uraraka is an important player in this arc, and she will be able to deal with the difficulty that Deku presents her with thanks to her military experience.
