As of September 2021, the first season of Tokyo Revengers by Liden Films was complete after 24 episodes. Fans were left wondering how the season would conclude and whether or not Takemichi, the show’s protagonist, would make it through the trauma. The second season of the anime is almost ready for its premiere, so we’ll soon find out. The show’s original plot and rogue protagonists catapulted it to overnight success. Some viewers were so taken with Takemichi that they continued reading the manga after Season 1 ended. Since the Christmas Showdown chapter of the manga is being adapted into an anime season, it’s no wonder that Liden Films didn’t waste any time renewing the show for a second season.
When will the second season of Tokyo Revengers be available?
The premiere of the first episode of Season 2 of Tokyo Revengers is set for either Saturday, January 7, or Sunday, January 8, 2023. Due to the time difference, most foreign fans won’t be able to see the episode until January 7th, while Japanese viewers will be able to watch it on local networks at 2:08 AM on January 8th.
However, there is currently no set date for the episode’s debut on Disney Plus or Hulu, which won the streaming rights for Season 2. In any case, this is when you’ll be able to view Episode 1 in your country if Disney and Hulu stick to the simulcast release pattern:

Though Liden Films has not officially confirmed the number of episodes for Tokyo Revengers Season 2, reliable sources have stated that the season will consist of 13. Since there were 24 episodes in Season 1 of Tokyo Revengers, this is understandably disappointing to some viewers. As a result, fans of the anime anticipated that it will return for a second season consisting of two to three hundred and forty-six episodes. But since it will only adapt the Christmas Showdown Arc, which includes about 45 chapters, the lesser length of the second season makes sense. The first season, however, focused on the first 74 chapters of the manga.
