Following a two-week hiatus after the release of One Punch Man Chapter 176, mangaka Yusuke Murata has announced the release date for the next chapter through his Twitter account. His tweet said that January 12, 2023, will be the publishing date for One Punch Man chapter 177. The previous episode of the manga gave readers a glimpse into Psykos’s past, revealing how she came to possess the Third Eye power. But that same thing drove her crazy, for when Fubuki peered into her thoughts, she saw a reflection of God.
Tatsumaki had arrived at the institution, and everything was happening as it should.
Saitama might face the Demon-Level Monsters in One Punch Man Chapter 177. On Friday, December 30, 2022, One Punch Man mangaka Yusuke Murata announced that Thursday, January 12, 2023, would be the publishing date for chapter 177.
The mangaka has since apologised for the delay and confirmed that the first chapter would be published in 2023 on Tonari no Young Jump. If the series’ current release schedule for new chapters is any indication, readers can look forward to new instalments around every two weeks.
Predictions for Chapter 177
After Saitama’s struggle with Garou, he plummeted into the Demon-Level Monsters Containment Level, which was just under the Special Internment Facility where Fubuki was staging a fake fight against Tatsumaki. This might be the first time Saitama fights in the manga. Saitama should have no issue beating them, given his strength. Saitama’s struggle against the monsters is not a positive omen, however, because the facility is crumbling and the monsters may be able to escape into the city in the midst of the chaos.
Meanwhile, Tatsumaki showed up at the lab, and it turned out that she and Fubuki were already working together. Tatsumaki requested that Fubuki meet her at the facility so that the two of them might seem to be at odds in front of Tsukuyomi. However, they intended to jointly rescue Psykos. Despite Tatsumaki’s animosity against the Tsukuyomi, Fubuki’s interest in Psykos’s Third Eye talent was prompted by her vision of God. Therefore, the next chapter may provide further insight into the Tsukuyomi community and its relationship with God. Since Tsukuyomi was absent from the first ONE webcomic, any plot involving them is likely to be surprising to readers.
