When did the first terrible thing occur on Blue Lock?
Isagi picks up the ball and sprints in the direction of the net. Isagi gets really near the end zone with the aid of Bachira, Chigiri, and Raichi, but then Nagi shows up and ruins everything. Yet, he is able to quickly implement his winning strategy and score the game-winning goal with a straight shot. Kunigami wants to ask Kuon to join the party while the team is celebrating, but Raichi points out that Kuon is a traitor. Raichi knocks some sense into Kuon but also gives him credit for the team’s victory. In addition to Team V and Team Z, the top scores from the teams that were eliminated, Junichi Wanima, Niko, and Barou, move on to the second selection.
Bachira and Isagi talk about the match and Bachira asks Isagi what he took out from it. When asked about his abilities, Isagi responded that he had figured out his score system. Niko joins Bachira and Isagi in the cafeteria, where he explains to Isagi how his high score woke him up. Niko promises Isagi that the next time they fight, he will win, and Isagi accepts the challenge. Before moving on to the second level of selection, Ego Jinpachi mandates that everyone put in 10 days of rigorous physical training. When the training is through, Ego gathers everyone in the building’s central basement to announce that only Building 5 is taking part in Blue Lock.
All five steps of the second selection are explained in terms of ego, and the winners will be given the opportunity to practise with the best football players in the world. Each player’s skills will be put to the test in the second round of picking. Next, Rin Itoshi, another A-lister, is introduced. When it’s time for the second choice, most people are terrified to even open the door, but Rin seems unfazed and goes first. The members of Team Z are fired up for what lies ahead.

Recap of Episode 11
In episode 11 of Blue Lock, Isagi finally figured out how to score goals, and his team eventually won the game against Team V thanks to his heroic performance in the clinching goal. Team Z made it to the second round of voting. Kunigami invited Kuon to come along, but it took a single punch from Raichi for the two to be on an even keel. After being briefed on their rigorous ten-day training regimen, Team Z proceeded inside to make their second choice of Blue Lock.
This is where Ego Jinpachi let them in on the secret that there is just one building in Blue Lock; he did this to make them feel as destitute as possible by giving them the impression that they were the lowest of the low. The second round of choosing was done on an individual basis and consisted of five phases. After making his presence known, a formidable player by the name of Itoshi Rin went in first for the second pick.
Next week’s episode of Blue Lock, number 12, will air on TV Asahi at 1:30 am JST on Sunday, December 25, 2022. Crunchyroll will host the episode for streaming across the world, with the exception of a few regions where Netflix will host the anime instead. In the last episode, we saw Isagi discover his formula for scoring goals, and then use it to win the game for Team V. As a result of their efforts, they were chosen for participation in the Blue Lock Project’s second round of selection. While Ego Jinpachi would brief the players about the second step of Blue Lock’s selection process following a 10-day training session, the participants would first be required to complete that phase.
