As fans eagerly anticipate the second Blue Lock Project pick, episode 12 of Blue Lock has been released. Team Z’s Yoichi Isagi was the first to enter the second round of voting. The last episode showed the first three phases of the second selection, and it doesn’t seem good for Isagi and the company. When we last left off, Team Z defeated Team V and advanced to the next round of selection. Later, it became clear that the tournament’s true purpose was to make the participants feel frantic about a lost opportunity to play football. The second option was then presented to the group.
Episode 12 of Blue Lock features Isagi’s alliance with Bachira and Nagi.
In the opening minutes of episode 12 of Blue Lock, titled Second Selection, Yoichi Isagi begins the first stage of the second selection, in which he must score 100 goals within 90 minutes against a holographic goalie named Blue Lock Man. While Isagi was initially successful in using direct kicks to score goals, he was having increasing difficulties doing so as the game progressed. After the difficulty level had been raised to its maximum, Isagi had trouble determining what to do next.
Nonetheless, he passed that obstacle and moved on to the next one. Isagi advanced to the next level and discovered that he just needed to form a trio. Assuming he was on the same squad as Isagi, Bachira immediately joined him. Nagi invited Isagi to join him and Reo on a team when they were still undecided between Kunigami and Chigiri. After being turned down for a similar role, Nagi offered to join Isagi and Bachira’s team, which they accepted.
Nagi was sure that Reo would also go to the following round, despite the fact that Reo seemed discouraged, but Nagi preferred to team up with Isagi.
Isagi, Nagi, and Bachira entered the next chamber to find Itoshi Rin, Aryu Jyubei, and Tokimitsu Aoshi, the top three rated players in Blue Lock. The final stage, as explained by Ego Jinpachi, will be a three-on-three battle in which the victorious team will get to pick a member of the losing team. The target is a group size of five people. Meanwhile, if a team were to lose its last player, the whole squad would be eliminated. Aside from that, Kunigami and Chigiri had decided to work together, and Isagi was trying to recruit one of their members.
However, the formidable foes before him fed his ego, and Isagi, together with Bachira and Nagi, ultimately decided to take on Blue Lock Project’s best team. Itoshi Rin said that his time with Blue Lock and the rest of the team was only a stepping stone to his eventual spot on the U-20 squad. Moreover, his primary motivation on the football pitch was to one day surpass his elder brother, Itoshi Sae, a midfield prodigy.
