[Updated] Boruto Episode 281, Expectations, Leaks, Release Date & Storyline

Where and How to Watch Boruto Episode 281?
There will be several places to watch Boruto Episode 281 online, including Crunchyroll, Apple TV, and Hulu.

The 281st episode of Boruto: What to Expect?
The rumoured title for Boruto 281 is “The Eighth Truth.” After breaking free of the genjutsu, Boruto will presumably meet the man behind the dark game in the next episode. He may also count on the help of Sarada, Mitsuki, and Kawaki as he faces off against the mastermind. Until the villain is vanquished, the surviving survivors will likely be trapped inside the genjutsu. On top of that, Kiseru’s incapacitation made it so they couldn’t escape.

A Brief Recap of Episode 280
‘A Breakthrough’ is the title of Boruto Episode 280. The previous episode featured Boruto’s confrontation with Kiseru over the latter’s friendship with Ouga. Kiseru, however, decides to leave the area rather than return fire. Rokuro, Shamo, Yatsume, and Namua, meantime, have decided to aid Boruto and have arrived at the scene in time to trap Kiseru. They also want answers about what really happened to Batta and Fugou. Again, Kiseru does not respond, instead using ninjutsu to lead the group to a hidden cave.

In addition, Kiseru begins attacking the group without warning. He and Rokuro engage in combat, with Rokuro ultimately winning when he deals the finishing blow to Rokuro’s already vulnerable stomach region. Back at the Leaf, Sarada, Kawaki, and Mitsuki are confronted by four masked shinobi who introduce themselves as members of the Investigation Team for the Five Great Nations. More than that, they claim they are investigating the causes of the inexplicable disappearances that have been happening everywhere.

With the events of the previous episode still fresh in his mind, Boruto, the episode’s protagonist, will likely spend much of Episode 281 attempting to get to the bottom of things. What follows is a complete and comprehensive explanation.
