Additionally, Luffy’s dominance over the newly-Awakened Lucci is confirmed in chapter 1070 of One Piece, confirming what readers had previously surmised. Tensions escalate in the latest chapter of One Piece
As chapter 1070 of One Piece begins, we are introduced to the youthful MADS scientific group in a cover story. Young Dr Vegapunk, Caesar Clown, the Vinsmoke Judge, the Queen, and a woman whose identity is not completely disclosed are all shown in the shot. The notion that a woman was ever a member of MADS is news to the audience for the first time. After being hurt by Lucci, the focus of One Piece chapter 1070 changes to Luffy making a break for Sentomaru. He says he’s sorry for causing Sentomaru any trouble, but Sentomaru only says that he saw it coming and partially stopped it.
After praising his power, Lucci explains that he needs Sentomaru out of the picture so that he and his allies may utilise the Seraphim for themselves. Just as Lucci is about to launch an assault on Sentomaru, Luffy unleashes a new technique, colloquially known as the “Gum-Gum Booming White Whip.” Luffy appears to be rotating his body while kicking out an Armament Haki-covered leg. As he continues to spin, his entire body is yanked toward his leg, giving him the appearance of a full-body Gum-Gum UFO.
As a result, Chopper and Jinbe are urging Luffy to make haste to reach Dr Vegapunk in time to save Atlas. Meanwhile, Luffy is griping about how he has spun himself into an uncontrollable tangle. Chopper cries after Luffy as he swings past, “Where are you going?” while the citizens of Egghead Island seek refuge in the factory. The S-Hawk and S-Shark Seraphims then easily defeat regular CP0 agents in Chapter 1070 of One Piece. Fighting the Seraphim is a no-win situation, as Kaku and Stussy point out, and “it’s much more horrifying when you know they’re still just youngsters.”

Franky and the rest of the Straw Hats learn from Dr Vegapunk that Pink is still alive and being held as an inmate in Impel Down. Other than Caesar Clown’s “unacceptable” SMILE Fruit technique, Dr Vegapunk says Zoan Fruits can only be created artificially. Dr Vegapunk goes on to say that “even unique sorts of Devil Fruits can be recreated” if sufficient funds are available. The question of whether or not these artificial Fruits can be Awakened is one he hasn’t answered.
After that, he says that he has attempted certain Logias, but that they have proven to be more challenging than he had anticipated. His fame from Kizaru’s Fruit is not mentioned. In Chapter 1070 of One Piece, Dr Vegapunk explains how, using a Paramecia user’s lineage factor, a blood additive may be created for Paramecia Types. In the following chapter of One Piece, S-Snake leads Chopper and Jinbe, who are carrying Bonney and Atlas, to an escape rocket. Chopper urges Luffy to hasten, while Sentomaru explains that he is putting his faith in Luffy to care for Dr Vegapunk. If Sentomaru asks, Luffy assures him that he will remove Dr Vegapunk from Egghead.
Just as Bonney awakens and wonders where they are and where Dr Vegapunk is, Luffy makes it into the rocket. She then notices Luffy in his “dried-out” appearance after utilising Gear 5 and is curious about who it is. Jinbe claims it’s Luffy, but more clarification will have to wait.
The island’s defensive system swings into total lockdown as the rocket transports the party to the lab stratum. It’s a shame that things turned out this way, says Lucci to Sentomaru, while Stussy reminds him that they’re supposed to wait for the Marines. When Dr Vegapunk remarks on the coincidence of Luffy’s appearance as a Yonko, Nami and Usopp nod in unison, saying that it makes perfect sense. When Dr Vegapunk finally boards their ship in Chapter 1070 of One Piece, Nami and the Straw Hats are overjoyed. Meanwhile, Luffy and the company are leaving the rocket to bring Atlas the medical attention she requires. But Bonney comes to and starts wandering off, stating that she’s going to talk to Dr Vegapunk about reverting the real Kuma back to normal and that the actual Kuma’s failure to do so would result in his death. However, CP0 has assumed control of the Seraphim and ordered that all exits be sealed. Lucci claims they still have to deal with the genuine Vegapunk in addition to the other five.
Kaku retorts that the island’s defences will be impossible to overcome, but Lucci retorts that he won’t let even one of them get off Egghead Island. In the last few panels of Chapter 1070 of One Piece, Kizaru finds out that the Straw Hats have joined forces with Dr Vegapunk. On paper, he says, it looks like a simple getaway, but he doesn’t intend for it to be simple. As the issue draws to a close, Kizaru discloses his strategy to bring as many battleships as possible to Egghead.
Chapter 1070 of One Piece: Wrapping Things Up
In general, One Piece chapter 1070 is a fun issue that focuses on progressing the story towards the conclusion of the Egghead Island arc. With Kizaru already on his way to Egghead, the arc is set to conclude in a spectacular manner within the next few issues.
Also, Chapter 1070 of One Piece all but informs readers that Luffy is better than Lucci.
