Recap!
As for the 176th chapter of One Punch Man, it was given the name “Epicenter.” Psykos and Fubuki, both dressed in their school uniforms, appeared on the cover of the chapter. The scene shifted to a flashback as Psykos explained to Fubuki that their supernatural research society had merged with a rival organisation called Invisible Hand. On her return to the library, she immediately began looking into the Third Eye. She accomplished her goal, and the power was released. She suddenly started having nightmares and seeing into the future. From one moment to the next, she cared less about being first than she did about wiping off all of mankind.
God’s hand was apparent in the bulging veins on her face. The battle they had in the Garou arc in high school quickly became the focus of the flashback. Fubuki asked Psykos what she saw for the future as she held her in her arms. Out of nowhere, a massive cloud with a venous appearance loomed over them. By this point, not even Fubuki could deny God’s existence. Back at headquarters, the panel discussed the situation. It seems that Fubuki and Saitama interrupted a meeting between Tsukuyomi. Fubuki nevertheless forewarned the gang that Tatsumaki would shortly break into the HQ and kill Psykos.
Tsukuyomi and Fubuki fought, and Tatsumaki made her first appearance. Tatsumaki just pretended to murder Psykos. She hoped to save her from that dangerous gang. This was the same gang that kidnapped her and used her as a test subject. Saitama, however, fell through a rift in the floor caused by all these psychics and into the bowels of HQ. The city of Saitama is surrounded by dragon-level monsters. As a result, the chapter ended on a suspenseful note.
Chapter 177 of One Punch Man: Spoilers
One Punch Man Chapter 177 has not been given a digital release title as of yet. However, Fubuki, Tatsumaki, and Psykos will be the story’s focal points. While everything is going on, the renowned Tsukuyomi organisation has vowed to stop Tatsumaki from stealing Psykos. It becomes clear in the first few pages that the organisation wants Psykos for her third eye. Her precognitive abilities were exposed in Chapter 176. Furthermore, she is the only one who can predict humanity’s ultimate fate. The Tsukuyomi organisation is interested in this future because it may hold the key to its secret plans. There was also a suggestion in the flashback panel that Psykos became wicked because of this dystopian future.
Fubuki ultimately prevailed over Psykos during their battle in the Garou arc. However, a huge extraterrestrial entity watched the two. Are Pyskos’s psychiatric problems divine punishment? There are hints throughout the story that God is using the heroes as a means to wipe off humanity. In addition, like Psykos in the Garou arc, Vaccine Man and Homeless Emperor kept shouting about wiping all humanity. Humans, in God’s eyes, are a plague that is destroying the world. The following few chapters have a chance of bringing God down to Earth to deal with the heroes. God is looking for a vassal body, as evidenced by the veins that suddenly appeared on Psykos’ face in chapter 176.
