An overview of Chapter 75
In the first part of chapter 75 of Boruto, Amado lists all of Eida and Daemon’s skills before digging into their backstory. He said that Amado had implanted talents using DNA taken from the bones of an Otsutsuki God named Shibai, rather than creating such magnificent abilities on his own. The scientist went into detail on how Shibai experienced karmic resurrection several times before achieving godhood, the ultimate goal of the Otsutsuki clan. Assuring them that Shibai no longer lived in their dimension, he said that while it was possible that he had been murdered, Amado himself thought that the Otsutsuki God had freely discarded his physical form.
Amado went on to clarify the godlike powers of Shibai, which he called “shinjutsu,” and to disclose that the skills of Eida and Daemon, as well as the claw, marks left by Code, Kawaki’s dojutsu passed down through Isshiki, and the karma seals were all examples of shinjutsu. He went on to explain that his daughter Akebi had passed away 12 years prior from an unidentified illness, and he revealed that the several iterations of Delta were his attempts to recreate Akebi’s character, down to her appearance and recollections. In exchange for helping him bring back his daughter, Jigen enticed Amado to assist him in making the ideal vessel for Isshiki. However, Amado soon discovered that Jigen might not actually want to assist him.
The scientist admitted that he had implanted the genetic information of his late daughter, Akebi, into Kawaki’s karma during reconstruction in the hopes that Kawaki would assist Amado in resurrecting Akebi through the use of another clone he would build. Further doubts were raised in Chapter 75 when Momoshiki called Boruto and told him that, since he utilised his own genetic material to save his ship, his and Boruto’s thoughts have been flowing into one other’s minds. Momoshiki agreed with Amado that Shibai had ascended to a higher plane and defined shinjutsu, but he doubted Eida’s love charm was shinjutsu because he had never seen anything like it before. By the conclusion of Boruto chapter 75, the younger Uzumaki had manifested Momoshiki’s dojutsu and saw a sight of the hamlet in disarray as its inhabitants desperately searched for someone.
