A Brief Recap of Episode 279 of Boruto
Boruto’s 279th episode is called “The Seventh Impasse.” Outer of the Kara, not Ouga, was the traitor’s true allegiance, as shown in the previous episode. Meanwhile, it is currently unknown why the gang was riding the Thunder Train at that particular moment. Also, the episode was the catalyst for the subsequent game, which was titled “Sum.” As the game progressed, Rokuro snapped and launched an attack against Boruto, Shamo, Yatsume, and Namua.
Fan favourites Batta and Fugou both met untimely ends in this episode. On his way back to the Leaf following his research, Mitsuki was caught in a trap set by Sarada and Kawaki. In addition to Mitsuki, Kawaki purposefully ensnared himself in the trap. Not long later, though, he utilised his Jutsu to disarm the trap and release both Mitsuki and himself. He also thought that another party was curious about the fate of the vanished Thunder Train’s passengers.
