Expectations from Boruto Episode 279?
After the third game, Pressure, just two more games remained until the destiny of the remaining players was decided. As was said before, Boruto’s leadership skills have been on full show throughout this arc. As the remaining players in Boruto’s fourth game get ready for the next round, episode 279 will likely bring more of the same. Episode 279 of Boruto is named The Obstacle: Seven, and it will presumably cover the second-to-last match. Ouga saw that they were all still alive and vowed to make their lives more difficult in the future. There is a good chance that Boruto and the others will survive.
There may also be progress in the situation where Batta and now Boruto have discovered the traitors identity. There should be some discussion about Sarada and Kawaki learning about Kiseru in episode 279 of Boruto. Since he isn’t a native Kara resident, things are different for the shinobi. Fortunately, Mitsuki’s efforts at the railway site paid off, and he was able to learn important information regarding the whereabouts of his companions.
Short Review on Episode 278 of Boruto
In the opening moments of Boruto episode 278 “Musical Chairs,” the last seven members were squabbling, and Boruto did his best to settle the situation. They talked it out and eventually both were honest about their desperate desire for the other’s company.
Yatsume considered dyeing her hair. Shamo wished he could do something special for his grandma. In the end, Boruto wanted to join Sasuke’s shinobi ranks. After a profound encounter with a priest, Namua resolved to forgo material comforts in favour of a life of asceticism.
Island ownership was what Batta yearned for. The businessman Fugou had a briefcase he needed to get to his customer. Kiseru desired to visit his native area and relax in its natural hot spring. That’s when Ouga yelled at them to move on to the next round. They were trapped in a chamber with a ceiling that was slowly closing in on them. Boruto, with the help of Kiseru and Namua, finally managed to burst through the floor after repeated attempts. The rest of Batta’s team followed in quickly, and the eight of them made it through the barrier.
As the episode closed, Batta revealed to Boruto that he had another mole in the organisation. Once back at the Leaf, Sarada and Kawaki made a startling discovery. While investigating the Thunder Train’s passenger list, it was discovered that Kiseru was an outer of the Kara.
The next instalment of the Japanese anime series Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will air on April 15. Uzumaki Boruto’s fight for survival was left on a dramatic cliffhanger last week. From their research, Sarada and Kawaki have concluded that Boruto’s life is in jeopardy. In Boruto: Naruto’s Next Generations Episode 279, how can they ensure the group’s survival? In the upcoming episode of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, viewers can expect Ouga to lead a new game in which players are given many tags.
Next week’s episode is titled “The Obstacle, Part 7.” The lucky winner will be the participant who happens to be wearing the lucky number 7. As of Boruto Episode 279, the competitors are gearing up to take the cards with the number 7. Ouga’s maze that he and Boruto and the others entered in the previous chapter still holds them captive. While Ouga continues to train for the dangers that await him, Boruto must wait. As the ceiling progressively descends, the already cramped space becomes much more so. There are still a lot of people struggling for survival and for personal space.
In the meantime, Boruto has spotted a hole in the floor on one side of the room. It is possible to break through the floor by utilising Rasengan. All the Boruto contestants struggled to find a weak spot on the floor but ultimately failed. As the ceiling begins to collapse, Boruto smashes the entire floor to safety. Upon returning to the town of Hiden Leaf, Uchiha Sarada and the rest of Team 7 checked the passenger manifest for any mention of Boruto. In the course of their investigation, they learn that Kiseru, one of the labyrinth’s participants, is actually an Outer for Kara. Upon realising this, Sarada and Kawaki rushed toward the passengers, and the train vanished.

Recap of Boruto Episode 278
“Musical Chairs” is the title of Boruto episode 278. The eight remaining passengers discussed their reasons for playing this sick game of life and death in the previous episode. Meanwhile, Ouga interrupts their conversation to kick off the third game, Pressure. Once again, the survivors were transported to a room. But this time, the room has a high ceiling and six switches along each wall.
Moreover, when the survivors press the first five buttons, the ceiling will begin to lower in a measured fashion. But when the ceiling sprouted spikes and the walls grew blades, terror set in. However, even after turning off the last switch, the ceiling continued to drop. On the other hand, Boruto quickly figured out that there was something hidden below the floor. Seeing this, Batta used her jutsu to find the floor’s weakest point and shatter it, which ended up saving everyone’s lives.

Latest Updates for Episode 279
An Analysis of Boruto Episode 278
In episode 278 titled “Musical Chairs,” we heard from a wide range of people about their aspirations for overcoming the challenges ahead in light of three additional adversities that Ouga faces. She said she would dye her hair as soon as she had the opportunity. The young ninja Boruto has ambitions to match those of his master, Sasuke, and one day achieve that goal. Shamo felt bad for picking on his grandma so much and decided to make things right. Kiseru planned to go to the hot springs he and his grandfather used to frequent. There were other “layers” to the motivations of Batta and Namua. During their conversation, Rokuro found out that Namua had a tattoo on his right arm that was only found on convicted killers.
A recollection of Namua’s past self was displayed, one in which he broke several taboos in order to acquire what he desired (among them, killing and robbing many people). Despite this, as he persisted in his theft and murder, he had an existential crisis that convinced him his time on earth was limited. Namua’s paranoia was so intense that it prevented him from getting any rest. I wouldn’t be shocked if Namua were to be the next victim, given that he has already revealed his history and stated his reasons for doing what he is doing. The chance to meet with a priest helped him reject worldly temptations and devote himself to a life of austerity. However, Batta’s highly materialistic ambition was to possess a private island, which was at odds with the guilt she felt for the deaths of two individuals in her last experiment.
Thus, I like how the authors exposed Batta’s actual motivations and the history of wealthy people seizing control of the island she was born on to turn it into a resort for her. An actual problem exists when wealthy individuals force locals out of their homes. Even when resorts are built, local culture and customs are ignored. Batta planned on using the funds to buy back the island. At the end of the episode, Batta told Boruto a significant secret (which I’ll get into later). Like Namua, I think it’s quite unlikely that she’ll make it through Ouga’s loss unscathed. In the third test, titled “Pressure,” eight competitors were sealed within a hollow, cylinder-shaped chamber with a progressively descending roof. The unveiling of the three refuges brought to mind the Saw movies.
They had to devise a plan for getting out of there or they would all perish. Due to Ouuga’s strategy to eliminate the eight competitors, only three would be able to find safe havens. Obviously, Boruto had a backup strategy. Water from Boruto’s Water-Style Jutsu to douse Kiseru’s flaming arrows drained away, revealing the floor’s lack of thickness. Even though Shamo was making an effort to slow the falling ceiling, it persisted in doing so. At the very same moment, Boruto, Kiseru, and Namua shattered the floor.
