The issue’s spoilers then kick-off, off with Lucci attempting to assault Luffy. As Kaku and Stussy intervene, Lucci is reminded that fighting a Yonko without first obtaining authorization from Marine Headquarters might lead to a full-scale conflict.
But when he realises how badly the Atlas has been hit, Luffy can’t help but rush in and tackle Lucci first. In One Piece Chapter 1069, we see Sentomaru show up with S-Snake, S-Hawk, and S-Shark, and then command S-Bear, the Kuma Seraphim, to attack CP0.
It is revealed here that Sentomaru must be physically present to provide commands to the Seraphim rather than using Den Den Mushi. The Gorosei, the Vegapunk, the Sentomaru, and whoever has the control chip are listed in order of increasing influence over the Seraphim. To date, CP0 has been identified as the owner of the control chip. As they flee with Bonney in tow, Jinbe and Chopper encounter the Seraphim. Seeing the S-Shark replica, which is modelled on Jinbe, causes Jinbe a great deal of shock, as revealed in One Piece spoilers for Chapter 1069. Meanwhile, Kaku and Stussy are attempting to escape S-strikes Bear’s so they don’t have to fight back and maybe harm the Seraphim. Meanwhile, Nami’s crew is watching on monitors, and they are astounded to see Luffy’s Gear 5 for the first time.
Next thing they know, the genuine Dr Vegapunk himself stands before them, and Franky’s heart melts at the realisation that this elderly guy is, in fact, the man he’s been looking for. Spoilers for One Piece Chapter 1069 show Dr Vegapunk inquiring of the Straw Hats about Luffy’s new appearance. Nami chimes in to say they aren’t sure either, but they suspect it’s some sort of undiscovered Gum-Gum Fruit superpower. The Gum-Gum Fruit, however, “has never been recorded in the old Devil Fruit encyclopaedia,” as Dr Vegapunk retorts. Next, Dr Vegapunk comments on how Luffy’s new appearance resembles Nika, an obscure deity mentioned exclusively in ancient books. Even if Nika’s identity is wiped from records, Dr Vegapunk adds, his legacy will live on as long as people keep hoping for him. Dr Vegapunk elaborates, adding that human desires are responsible for the existence of everything on Earth, including, astonishingly, Devil Fruits.
Then, in One Piece Chapter 1069, Dr Vegapunk reveals that Devil Fruits are the wished-for development of humanity. He elaborates that every talent is a yearning for what one can become. However, saltwater is the weakness of all Devil Fruits since the ocean hates such unnatural intentions. Based on his research, Dr Vegapunk has come to the conclusion that everyone with an ability and that curse is effectively living out the future that someone once longed for. Incredulous, Nami and her fellow Straw Hats say nothing while Dr Vegapunk raves about what a great place they’ve found. During his battle with Lucci, though, Luffy can be seen grinning and smiling as he wildly leaps around and having a good time, all the while evading the latter’s strikes.
Luffy then uses the new Gum-Gum Mole move in One Piece Chapter 1069, which transforms the ground into a fist and hits Lucci in the stomach. In the final moments, before he takes off, Lucci is depicted coughing blood as he flies away, while Luffy unexpectedly spots Sentomaru. Even though he’s bouncing about, he slows down to welcome his former opponent. Sentomaru reveals that he owes a big obligation to Dr Vegapunk since he was picked up by the doctor and freed from a life of poverty. He then requests that Luffy remove Dr Vegapunk from the situation and reveals why he opted to fight against CP0. Rob Lucci, however, has been busy healing from Luffy’s most recent strike while the two have been conversing.
Additional spoilers for One Piece Chapter 1069 show Lucci charging at the two with a Soru. Next, he uses a Finger Pistol to launch a vicious assault on Sentomaru, severely wounding the latter in the process. Admiral Kizaru is the most likely suspect because of the “an old buddy” connection. The issue’s last hint, also from Un-amed, appears to confirm this, showing a child holding back another boy. Akainu refers to the one doing the holding, whereas Kizaru refers to the person being held. This seems to confirm that Kizaru wants to travel to Egghead, but is either prevented from doing so or is forced to follow Akainu’s commands. One Piece Chapter 1069, as suggested by the clues, promises to be an action-packed issue full of cameo appearances, new battle forms, and more. Some of the statements made this week have been more cryptic and subject to interpretation than others. There’s little question that the next edition will be a riveting one.

In Case You Missed It, Here’s What Occurred Before Chapter 1069 of One Piece The cover art for Chapter 1068 of One Piece, titled “A Genius’ Dream,” features a struggle between Caesar and Judge as they reflect on their history.
At the beginning of this chapter, Pythagoras provides Cipher Pol 0 with information about the Seraphim Kuma necessary for their return to the island.
Once Pythagoras tells Cipher Pol 0 (CP0) that the seraphim can go to the island on their own, CP0 is satisfied that their duty is fulfilled. After a lengthy journey at sea, Cipher Pol 0 (especially Kaku) wants some tea, but Pythagoras declines, saying that they would be welcomed more warmly on G-14. Rob Lucci chimes in to ask Pythagoras for his thoughts on the disappearance of the CP5, CP7, and CP8 from Egghead Island.
Additionally, he questioned Pythagoras on the disappearance of all government ships that had gone to see Dr Vegapunk during the course of the preceding two months. Pythagoras explained that he had seen all of the missing ships leave the island without incident.
An infuriated Lilith interrupted Pythagoras, claiming that CP0 may check for themselves whether or not they have sunk all government ships on the island. However, Pythagoras declines to grant CP0 permission to dock at Egghead Island and insists that they return to the sea.
However, Rob Lucci uses a different method of penetration. He gives the order for the ship to be destroyed by the mechanical sea animals and tells his troops to instead use Seraphim Kuma’s speed and agility to bring everyone safely ashore. While the Revolutionary Army tries to capture Bartholomew Kuma on Momoiro Island, Kuma utilises the devil fruit’s abilities to teleport away, surprising even Dragon. Dr Vegapunk, now located at the scrapyard on Egghead Island, hopes to depart the island with Luffy and the others.
He tells everyone he knows that he has to keep going if he wants to use science to liberate the planet by providing unlimited, free energy available to everyone. According to Dr Vegapunk, this will ensure that governments never again fight over energy policy. Dr Vegapunk thinks that Luffy’s departure from the island was motivated by a desire to learn more about energy and that this curiosity drove him to look into the ancient fuel that drives the mechanical robot they see before them. In addition, Dr Vegapunk’s desire to know the truth compelled him to look into the Void Century’s taboo thread.

Unfortunately for Kaku, he walks directly into the Frontier Dome’s laser beam. Suddenly, Vegapunk Atlas arrives and declares that only she is allowed to cause mayhem on the island. Despite Shaka’s best efforts to intervene, Atlas continues to battle the CP0 until Rob Lucci, in his hybrid form, hits her with his Six King Pistol Rokugan, smashing half of her face in the process. As all of the scientists begin leaving in response to Shaka’s orders, Atlas drops to the ground, barely alive. Luffy and the others make it to the summit at the chapter’s finale, prompting a brief glance-off between Luffy and Lucci.

As hinted at in the teasers for One Piece Chapter 1069, the upcoming chapter will include a satisfactory mix of mythology and battles. Dr Vegapunk will shed light on Luffy’s Gear 5 form, allowing fans to witness him in action and get insight into his transformation. When the previous chapter finished with Luffy and Lucci face to face, readers could easily predict what would happen. The fight will not be as boring as first anticipated since Lucci has a surprising move up his sleeve, and it appears like Oda will not let us down with a completely predictable sequence of events. The sudden action of Lucci
Vegapunk had already begged Luffy to remove him from Egghead island since the World Government no longer values his presence. Vegapunk’s bodyguard Sentomaru will make an appearance in chapter 1069 of One Piece and ask Luffy to do the same thing. Sentomaru owes his life to Vegapunk since he has rescued him from a life of abject poverty.
In the battle against the CP0, the latter will also be in charge of the Seraphim. Lucci will charge towards Sentomaru as he and Luffy are talking, and attack him with a powerful Shugan, severely wounding both of them. Although it would shock and infuriate Luffy, Lucci intends to eliminate the Seraphim’s commander in order to assume charge of the group.
