Typical Events (speculative)
The trailers for One Piece Episode 1044 don’t suggest that there will be a lot of new, unique material for anime fans to enjoy. Fans were surprised by Brook’s awkwardly inserted memory last week, despite the fact that it was nonetheless appreciated. The next episode appears to focus largely on the battle between Nico Robin and Black Maria. The anime adaptation team is making the right call by keeping the matchup as the series’ primary emphasis down to its final stages.
Although other components of the Onigashima Raid will surely occur, Robin vs. Black Maria will likely be a big part of the episode. As the teaser for the episode suggests, Luffy will also return. He is shown with enough vigour to begin consuming anything in sight. Sadly, this is probably the only time viewers will see the Straw Hat in this episode, but it’s a good sign that the Fifth Emperor will be back at Onigashima’s rooftop fight sooner than either Kaido or viewers think.
Release time for One Piece Episode 1044 is set for 9:30 am on Sunday, December 11, 2022, JST. Fans are anticipating to return to manga-canon content in the upcoming episode after last week’s anime-original goodies of Brook’s flashback. At the time of this writing, there are no known spoilers for One Piece Episode 1044, although the trailer indicates that Black Maria and Robin’s battle is coming to a close. Plus, after being tossed off Onigashima, Luffy will certainly make a comeback to the delight of supporters.

Expectations from One Piece Episode 1044
Episode 1044 of One Piece is called “Clutch!” A literal incarnation of evil, Robin! As the episode’s title indicates, “and the episode will centre on the struggle between Robin and Black Maria. In the opening scene, we see Black Maria and Robin having a fire-filled brawl, with Robin clearly having a hard time of it and even taking a few blows to the face. It appears in the teaser that Robin will experience flashbacks and, just when she is about to give up, will rally and try to overcome Maria. While Momonosuke is in tears, we see Luffy eating in the preview. Sabo and the revolutionary army are also seen in the trailer, although they may be part of Robin’s past that he is remembering.
About Episode 1044
Sunday, April 7 is the confirmed release date for One Piece Episode 1044, and in it, Robin will face off against Black Maria. The latest One Piece manga chapters continue to amaze, as the anime continues to build momentum for the rematch between Luffy and Kaido.
The impending episode may involve the destruction of Kaido’s fleet by Black Maria and Nico Robin. Thanks to Big Mom and the efforts of Nami and Ussop, Ulti and Page One no longer appear to be a threat. Meanwhile, the battle between Sasaki and Franky has reached a fever pitch, and it’s possible that Franky may emerge triumphant in the near future.
For his part, Who’s Who couldn’t have been happier to see Jimbei take him down by himself. The former’s involvement in the conspiracy stemmed from his knowledge of the mystery gum-gum fruit and his loathing of the straw hat and his pirates. Aside from that, the Who’s Who figure felt like useful material for our characters to develop from. Hopefully the remaining members of the “flying six” will be wrapped up in the next few episodes, and we can move on to the climactic stage of the attack on Onigashima. Yamato is now engaged in a battle with her father, keeping him at bay until Luffy returns to the rooftop of Onigashima.
At the same time, Sanji is engaged in a tremendous struggle with Queen, the third strongest of the beast’s pirates. The bout between Zoro and King, the group’s No. 2 fighter behind Kaido, is guaranteed to be spectacular. Big Mommy vs. Little Brother vs. the Law is another topic about which we should hear more shortly. Let’s discuss the forthcoming episode in great depth, though. With a sneak peek at next week’s episode at our disposal, let’s speculate on what may go down. In addition, we will provide you with further information on One Piece Episode 1044, including when to expect the episode’s release and when to watch it across many platforms.
