So, what happened the last time? (Recap)
In the ninth episode of Blue Lock, “Awakening,” Team Z was taken aback by a ridiculous goal scored by Nagi Seishiro and Team V. Once the play restarted, Team V was able to mount a counterattack and add another goal to their total. Zantetsu of Team V compounded the situation by scoring Team V’s third goal on a long shot. While his teammates were feeling down about the situation, Bachira was getting pumped up for the game again and dribbling against the opposition. He outpaced everyone on the field and ended up in a one-on-one situation with the goalkeeper, where he scored with a rabona flick. After Bachira’s goal, Team Z’s confidence was restored, and Rensuke scored again with a long-range knuckleball. Chigiri, who had been sleeping through the first half, woke up in the second and scored a goal that was similar to the one he scored against Team W to tie the game at three.
The tenth instalment of Blue Lock will air on TV Asahi at 1:30 a.m. JST on Sunday, December 11, 2022. The episode will be streamed on Crunchyroll worldwide, with the exception of a few places where the anime will be shown on Netflix. Team Z scored three goals against Team V in the previous episode, but they immediately launched a comeback. This extended the contest to unprecedented lengths. At 3-3 with 30 minutes to go in the game, luck was on their side thanks to goals from Bachira, Rensuke, and Chigiri.

In episode 10 of Blue Lock, what can we expect?
Because Team Z has finally figured out how to counter Team V’s strategies, the tenth episode of Blue Lock is expected to see some tense play from Team V. Team V is likely to experiment as only their top three players will receive any significant attention from the media. Team Z, meanwhile, must swiftly score a goal in order to win and secure all three points. If they don’t win, they won’t be in the running for Blue Lock’s next round of selections, therefore they have no choice but to do so.
