Chapter 176 of Yusuke Murata’s One Punch Man manga is scheduled to be released on December 15, 2022, at 12 a.m. JST, continuing the author’s regular biweekly schedule. Previously in the comic, Fubuki picked up Saitama and they joined the Blizzard Group in meeting Psykos. Unfortunately, another esper was already in Psykos at the time of their arrival. The unknown esper planned to take Psykos with him so he could study her.
Perhaps Fubuki and Psykos will square off in One Punch Man chapter 176.
On Wednesday, December 7, 2022, One Punch Man mangaka Yusuke Murata announced that Thursday, December 15, 2022, would be the publishing date for chapter 176. The Mangaka has stated that the forthcoming release would be the last one of 2022, and therefore the manga chapter will be published on Tonari no Young Jump. Chapter 177 will not be available to readers until 2023, most likely on Thursday, January 5, 2023.
Overview of Chapter 176: What to Anticipate?
Chapter 176 of One Punch Man will most likely focus on the battle between Fubuki and Psykos that occurred during Saitama’s confrontation with Garou. In the prior chapter, we learned that Fubuki and Psykos went to high school together. For the simple reason that she might have caused fewer heroes to exist, Fubuki loathed Psykos and everything she stood for. Fubuki aspired to outdo her sister Tatsumaki and become the greatest hero in the world, but if Psykos’ schemes had succeeded, there might not have been anybody for Fubuki to look up to. For this reason, she made the call to imprison Psykos’ abilities.
This is the spark that ignited the conflict between Fubuki and Psykos, which will be presented in the next episode. Alternatively, the upcoming release might centre on the mysterious esper who first appeared in chapter 175; however, as webcomic fans are aware, this figure was never actually present in the plot and was instead created by mangaka Yusuke Murata.
A meeting between Fubuki and Psykos was cut short in the original comics by ONE when Tatsumaki, eager to eliminate Psykos, barged in on their conversation. However, Yusuke Murata appears to be going in a different direction with the Psychic Sisters storyline in the manga.
