Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 279 Spoilers, Leaks, Release Date, Storyline & Much More to Read

An Analysis of Boruto Episode 278
In episode 278 titled “Musical Chairs,” we heard from a wide range of people about their aspirations for overcoming the challenges ahead in light of three additional adversities that Ouga faces. She said she would dye her hair as soon as she had the opportunity. The young ninja Boruto has ambitions to match those of his master, Sasuke, and one day achieve that goal. Shamo felt bad for picking on his grandma so much and decided to make things right. Kiseru planned to go to the hot springs he and his grandfather used to frequent. There were other “layers” to the motivations of Batta and Namua. During their conversation, Rokuro found out that Namua had a tattoo on his right arm that was only found on convicted killers.

A recollection of Namua’s past self was displayed, one in which he broke several taboos in order to acquire what he desired (among them, killing and robbing many people). Despite this, as he persisted in his theft and murder, he had an existential crisis that convinced him his time on earth was limited. Namua’s paranoia was so intense that it prevented him from getting any rest. I wouldn’t be shocked if Namua were to be the next victim, given that he has already revealed his history and stated his reasons for doing what he is doing. The chance to meet with a priest helped him reject worldly temptations and devote himself to a life of austerity. However, Batta’s highly materialistic ambition was to possess a private island, which was at odds with the guilt she felt for the deaths of two individuals in her last experiment.

Thus, I like how the authors exposed Batta’s actual motivations and the history of wealthy people seizing control of the island she was born on to turn it into a resort for her. An actual problem exists when wealthy individuals force locals out of their homes. Even when resorts are built, local culture and customs are ignored. Batta planned on using the funds to buy back the island. At the end of the episode, Batta told Boruto a significant secret (which I’ll get into later). Like Namua, I think it’s quite unlikely that she’ll make it through Ouga’s loss unscathed. In the third test, titled “Pressure,” eight competitors were sealed within a hollow, cylinder-shaped chamber with a progressively descending roof. The unveiling of the three refuges brought to mind the Saw movies.

They had to devise a plan for getting out of there or they would all perish. Due to Ouuga’s strategy to eliminate the eight competitors, only three would be able to find safe havens. Obviously, Boruto had a backup strategy. Water from Boruto’s Water-Style Jutsu to douse Kiseru’s flaming arrows drained away, revealing the floor’s lack of thickness. Even though Shamo was making an effort to slow the falling ceiling, it persisted in doing so. At the very same moment, Boruto, Kiseru, and Namua shattered the floor.
