As of the 19th of August, 2022, the most recent chapter was made available to readers, and since then, many have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the next. Unfortunately, Dragon Ball Super Chapter 88 has not yet been released by creator Akira Toriyama. Shonen Jump, in reality, has not yet declared a hiatus. A Twitter account recently announced that the Dragon Ball Super manga was temporarily suspended. The manga has stopped updating for the quarter. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until December to see it again. As soon as we have further information, we will post it here.

Author Akira Toriyama and artist Toyotaro are now taking a sabbatical. As the Granolah the Survivor storyline was resolved in the previous chapter, a new arc will begin when Dragon Ball Super Chapter 88 is released. The editors confirmed the break with a message at the conclusion of Ball Super Chapter 87. To get ready for the next arc, Dragon Ball Super will be on hiatus for a while.
