Developed by Hiro Mashima and Atsuo Ueda, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is a Japanese manga series. A sequel to Mashima’s Fairy Tail series, it follows Natsu Dragneel and his guild, the Fairy Tail Wizards, as they strive to fulfil a century-old mission. Kodansha USA acquired the manga for an English publication in North America when it first appeared on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket manga app in July 2018. As of the end of November 2021, ten tankbon volumes had been published in Japan. An anime TV series adaptation has been announced.
Natsu Dragneel and the other members of the Fairy Tail wizard guild set out towards the northern continent of Guiltina a year after the destruction of Zeref and Acnologia to complete the 100 Years Quest, which has been unfinished for over a century. The group learns that their mission is to imprison a collection of dragons whose combined might is greater than that of Acnologia and hence poses a global danger. Touka, meantime, joins Fairy Tail despite being possessed by a witch bent on stealing the dragons’ powers for herself.
Natsu Dragneel
Known as a member of Team Natsu, Natsu Dragneel is a member of the Fairy Tail Guild and a Mage. He is the younger brother of the great Etherious: E.N.D., Zeref Dragneel, and he perished 400 years ago. Four hundred years in the past, five Dragon Slayers were sent to the future to help fight Acnologia, and Natsu is one of them.
