My Hero Academia Chapter 373: What to Expect
Up to this point, there have been no big spoilers made public. However, with what happened in the last episode, it seems certain that Spinner and Present Mic will square off in front of Kurogiri. Koda and Shoji, too, are likely to join Present Mic in this battle. If a significant spoiler is disclosed, this article will be updated, but until then, there will be more news and information posted here in anticipation of the publication of My Hero Academia Chapter 373. Even after taking the ultimate combo assault from Shoji and Koda, Spinner still prevailed. Mic in the present must prevent Spinner from recruiting Kurogiri for the bad guys.
What Occurred Before Chapter 373 of My Hero Academia (Recap)
A brief flashback occurs at the beginning of the chapter, as Shoji and Koda ask All Might and Eraser Head to transport them to Central Hospital. Teachers didn’t understand why kids weren’t told. Shoji claims that the gigantic woman let them know that the mutants had been ordered to attack the hospital. Shoji, upon learning of this, becomes resolved to join the gang that will guard the hospital, reasoning that he cannot be a hero if he allows the raid to go without stopping it. In addition, Koda offers to tag along with Shoji. In the meantime, Eraser Head and Present Mic are debating how they may have fooled the baddies into thinking that Kurogiri wasn’t where he really was.
Eraser Head tells Present Mic that the students at Central Hospital need his aid and that he should come to fight alongside them. Eraser Head knows that in the current day, Present Mic has seen how Koda and Shoji battle, and has concluded that their students are already much stronger than they were when they were labelled “three fools.” Here we see another flashback, this time to Koda’s childhood, and specifically his recollections of his mother.
Koda’s mother informed him he would develop horns that would allow him to communicate with faraway creatures. When others made rude comments about her appearance, she said her spouse was there to shield her sentiments.
The flashback concludes with Koda’s mother encouraging him to become an adult who, like his father, feels outraged when someone close to them is humiliated. Koda and Shoji unleash Hitchcock Birds and Octo Expansion, with Present Mic’s voice serving as a follow-up, on Spinner and the Paranormal Liberation Front General. Shoji confronts Spinner by asking him what he intends to defend with his huge frame and scaly skin. And he turns to the other mutants and asks them the same thing. Shoji remembers Aoyama sobbing in the background when he says this. Even more so, Shoji yells at the top of his lungs that they must not let their wounds consume them lest their children become the next victims of persecution and prejudice. In addition, he begs that no one let wrath consume them.
During this time, Spinner steps in and yells that no matter how big the heroes’ victories are, nothing will change since hatred will never die. He keeps talking, telling everyone that staying hidden is like being sprayed with insecticide. This time, Spinner yells to the top of his lungs, rallying the crowd to join in the resistance by raising their voices and fighting back. Shoji is taken aback by Spinner’s seemingly increased strength as he speeds toward the Central Hospital. Seeing this inspired the other mutants to push themselves even further. Spinner was shot and crashed through the hospital’s walls, allowing the mutants inside to more easily wreak havoc. Spinner recounts that All For One told him that Kurogiri was being kept at the research tower and that if he found him, he was to play a tape of All For One’s or perhaps Shigaraki’s voice.
All For One believes that Spinner’s oddity will put a stop to the conflict once and for all and that he will be hailed as a hero for saving Shigaraki’s life. Medical staff united in their efforts to keep mutants out of the facility. One of the mutants sees this and remembers what Shoji said about how they should treat the injured, so he too throws down his weapon. Despite Spinner’s revelation that he had achieved his aim of being someone after many years of being nothing, his mutant army abandoned him as a result. Shoji’s voice has reached the mutants, and Present Mic’s voice resonates down the hall to remind them that Spinner is not their trump card. In the last moments of this chapter, Present Mic and Spinner make an urgent phone call to Kurogiri, who is being kept hostage in the hospital’s research tower.
