[New] One Piece Chapter 1066 Raw Scans & Leaks, Updates, Spoilers & Much More

The leaks suggest that One Piece 1066 will be a huge success. As if that weren’t enough, viewers will also get to hear a dialogue between Dr Vegapunk and Monkey D. Dragon, the head of the Revolutionary Army, which will finally disclose the scientist’s actual look. The release date for One Piece 1066 is set for November 13, 2022. In the meanwhile, fans of the series will have to make do with a fan-made translation of the most recent entry. A large portion of the One Piece fanbase has long held the suspicion that Vegapunk is working in league with Dragon and the Revolutionaries. The most recent instalment of the series made this hypothesis a reality, which can lead to many exciting new possibilities. Stay tuned for updates by reading on. Dr Vegapunk’s connection with Dragon is revealed in leaked chapters of One Piece 1066.

Where do I find out more about Vegapunk?
In the history of the One Piece universe, Dr Vegapunk stands as the most brilliant scientist ever. His scientific knowledge and experience are unmatched, and he is the World Government’s top scientist. They say he’s 500 years ahead of the rest of the scientific community. He has studied topics such as Seastones, Devil Fruits, Lineage Factors, synthetic life, and gigantification. In the first original Pacifista, Vegapunk was also responsible for the alterations made to former Seven Warlords member Bartholomew Kuma, which ultimately led to the development of these cyborgs and their subsequent industrialization.

Vegapunk is in charge of the SSG (Special Science Group), an eponymous team and initiative designed to supplant the Seven Warlords’ order. The Seraphims were built by the SSG, and they are formidable cyborgs imbued with the unique abilities of the Lunarian species and the Lineage Factor of the Seven Warlords. Little was known about Vegapunk’s background or his character prior to the events of One Piece 1066. He was previously employed by the World Government, but before that he worked for MADS, an illegal research team that comprised notable scientists like Judge Vinsmoke, Queen, and Caesar Clown. Vegapunk’s present home and lab are on Egghead Island. Shaka, Lilith, Edison, Pythagoras, Atlas, and York are the six cyborg offspring he created after separating his mind some time ago.

All of these cyborgs will introduce themselves as “Vegapunk,” regardless of their own names or characters. They are capable of operating separately but cooperatively. Stella is the name of Vegapunk’s actual body.

Where is Dragon?
Instigating and leading the Revolutionary Army, Monkey D. Dragon is a major figure. He is Marine Hero Garp’s offspring and the parent of One Piece’s protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy.
Dragon is famed in the One Piece universe for being the most powerful member of the sole military unit that actively strives to topple the World Government. Even though we don’t know much about his combat skills just yet, we may assume he’s among the most formidable One Piece characters. During the East Blue Saga, he made his debut appearance. While he did assist Luffy in evading Marine officer Smoker, he never spoke to his son personally. It had been some time since Dragon last saw Luffy. Prior to this chapter, very little was known about Dragon’s past, and this was the case for Vegapunk as well.

One Piece 1066, Vegapunk and Dragon’s talk
In a flashback that occurred some years before the present narrative, Vegapunk’s original body spoke with Dragon. This exchange was depicted in Chapter 1066 of One Piece. During their conversation, they both agreed that Ohara had to be eliminated. Nico Robin, Nami, Sanji, Franky, and Usop overheard a conversation between Vegapunk Shaka and the Strawhats, in which Shaka revealed to the latter his belief that the World Government planned to destroy Ohara as a result of the Strawhats’ research into the Ancient Kingdom.
By eliminating the Ancient Kingdom at the close of the Void Century, 800 years ago, the victorious kingdoms were able to form a unified worldwide authority known as the World Government. Since then, research and decipherment of Poneglyphs have been forbidden since the World Government views even the possibility of the Ancient Kingdom as a danger.

Therefore, Ohara’s fall might be traced back to the discovery of the Ancient Kingdom’s name. Nonetheless, Vegapunk Shaka disclosed that Nico Robin and Professor Clover’s combined expertise keeps the Will of Ohara alive. To save their books from Buster Call’s devastation, the Ohara academics concealed them. The books were rescued and carried to Elbaf by a party of giants led by Jaguar D. Saul, a friend of Nico Robin & her mother, Nico Olvia. A later Vegapunk travelled to Elbaf, where he studied the books and committed their contents to memory. As Vegapunk Shaka’s story progressed, he described his return to Ohara a few months after the island had been destroyed by Buster Call. The scientist’s ghostly form paid respect to his companion Clover with a bouquet of flowers as they stood amid the island’s charred remains.

Monkey D. Dragon came over to meet Vegapunk and introduce himself. The two then claimed that the World Government was responsible for fabricating the story that Professor Clover was a global terrorist plotting to overthrow democracy. When Dragon asked Vegapunk to join his Liberty Army in their struggle against the World Government, he refused, saying that his intelligence and technology would be wasted in a poorly financed group. Vegapunk countered that he would be better served by working to win over influential members of the World Government to their cause. He mentioned that a few other Marines share similar views. Dragon, who generally avoids conflict, admitted that the Ohara incident’s violence had shocked even him. To ensure that Clover’s sacrifice and Ohara’s wishes would not go to waste, Dragon formed the Revolutionary Army to fight for the liberation of all oppressed people across the world.

Vegapunk’s goals…?
The scientist’s motivations are made obvious in Vegapunk’s talk with Dragon. For starters, it further highlights the bond between him and Dragon. The scientist and the head of the Revolutionary Army had a conversation about his death in Chapter 1064 of One Piece.
The conversation seemed quite familiar as if the two had known each other for quite some time prior to the phone call. It seems that Vegapunk was taking Dragon at his word when he said he wanted to talk before he died. This exchange may now be understood in a new light in light of the most recent chapter, which reveals the longstanding friendship between Dragon and Vegapunk. Since it was revealed that Bartholomew Kuma was a member of the Revolutionary Army, the concept that Vegapunk had some links to that group has been widely discussed among One Piece fans.

Kuma surrendered his autonomy by letting Vegapunk transform his body into the cyborg prototype for the Pacifista series. His final wish as a human was to be programmed to guard the Strawhat Pirates’ ship, the Thousand Sunny, until the return of its captain and crew, and the scientist fulfilled this request before he was surgically removed from the planet. Kuma could have an understanding of Vegapunk because of the ties between the two companies. Regardless, it is clear that the scientist is not completely committed to the World Government, given all the evidence. It’s fascinating that Vegapunk relies on technology developed by the Ancient Kingdom, the World Government’s deadliest foe in the past. It’s possible that scientist is working among the ruling elite of the world in order to plot their downfall. Some fans have theorised that Vegapunk is the real head of SWORD, a covert Marines outfit that disagrees with the World Government’s policies.

Member of SWORD Helmeppo indicated that Vegapunk is a nice guy who may help them rescue Koby from the Blackbeard Pirates. Therefore, it’s plausible that Vegapunk is the commander of a group of Marines plotting an insurrection against the World Government. To be clear, this is just speculative at the moment.

Considerations Concluding
With its location in the middle of the timeline, One Piece 1066 will introduce some fascinating new possibilities. The incident with Vegapunk and Dragon in the past made it abundantly clear that the scientist is not on their side, despite the fact that he is employed by the World Government and serves as the head of the Marines’ Special Science Group.
Vegapunk’s original body has just been met by Luffy, Bonney, Chopper, and Jinbe in this episode. In other words, the scientist was aware that Luffy was Dragon’s offspring. Furthermore, he identified Bonney as Bartholomew Kuma’s daughter. But things are getting more complicated. The World Government has dispatched three masked CP0 agents named Lucci, Kaku, and Stussy with the mission of eliminating all of Vegapunk’s bodies without harming the lab or its contents.

It’s possible that Vegapunk’s ties to Dragon have been discovered by the World Government. Since the scientist may no longer be useful to them, this may have been their conclusion. Due to the absence of Dragon and the Revolutionaries, he stands a better chance of receiving assistance from the Strawhat Pirates. Luffy will not let the World Government harm him because Vegapunk is a friend of his father’s. A few chapters back, Zoro also hinted at Vegapunk fulfilling his requests, the nature of which has not been disclosed. If the scientist complied with Zoro’s requests, the Strawhats’ first mate might be willing to look out for him.
