Luffy was found by the Heart Pirates drowning in episode 1038 of One Piece, and they rescued him. To begin treating him, they made him vomit up the water he’d swallowed. Momonosuke and Sinobu, meanwhile, survived their fall from Onigashima to the Wano mainland. A short while after they landed, Momonosuke broke down in tears out of concern for Kiku and Kin’emon. After Nami attacked Tama in Onigashima, Ulti began tormenting her. Zeus proposed using a bolt of lightning.
Nami, however, declined since she knew it would harm Tama. While Usoop kept Ulti and Nami apart, Nami launched a lightning attack on Ulti. Although she made an effort to avoid Zeus’s blow, Ulti was nevertheless knocked to the ground, rendering the Tobiroppo helpless. As a result of his carelessness, Bao Huang spread fear among the Pleasures and Gifters. With this opening, Usoop lied to Tama and said she was a transmitter. Meanwhile, Yamato and Kaido got into an argument as the former sought to remove the latter from Wano.
One Piece Episode 1039: Spoilers & Expectations
Yamato and Kaido’s showdown is expected to proceed in the next episode. Luffy is unharmed, but he can’t fight Kaido just now. Since this is the case, Yamato will be resolved to keep Kaido under control until Luffy comes to the battlefield. Yamato plans to utilise his superior physicality to keep Kaido under control. It will be difficult to handle Kaido on one’s own.
As for Luffy’s current situation, it will be revealed as well. His exact condition is unknown, despite the Heart Pirates’ rescue and treatment efforts. I guess we can expect Luffy’s rehabilitation to take some time. Yamato must currently contend with Kaido. In any case, he’ll soon have assistance.
