In the opening of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 203, Choso tells Tsukumo that he plans to face Kenjaku alone in order to force him to employ as many cursed spirits or domain expansion as possible in order to exhaust him and that Tsukumo will then be his best opportunity to defeat him. Choso realises that he has no chance of survival against Kenjaku on his own. Choso tries to get Kenjaku into a one-on-one battle with him so that he may employ all of his cursed spirits and skills, but Kenjaku is more than capable of dealing with him and is aware of Choso’s strategy. Kenjaku ultimately prevails against Choso and boasts that a sorcerer of his special grade can easily defeat a sorcerer of grade 1 on his own and even overturn a country.
Just to rub salt in the wound, he goes on to bring up the fact that Yuji and Choso have additional brothers. Choso gets back up at the end of the chapter, inspired by his brother’s fortitude, to continue the battle. It is likely that the events of Chapter 203 will carry over into Chapter 204 of Jujutsu Kaisen, with Choso continuing to try to corner Kenjaku and force him to utilise his domain to exhaust him.
