Spoilers for My Hero Academia Chapter 371
As of the time of writing, no substantial spoilers have been posted online. In light of the events of the most recent chapter, however, it is safe to assume that Shoji will do all in his power to stop the enraged mob from invading the Central Hospital and reclaiming Kurogiri.
As an added bonus, Spinner’s history may be exposed, giving us insight into how All For One’s Gigantification Quirk led to his current appearance.
Spoilers for the upcoming publication of My Hero Academia Chapter 371 will be added here if and when they become public knowledge, but until then, you may look forward to reading more news and information. The heroes are doing all in their power to prevent the mutants and villains from starting a riot at the Central Hospital. To prevent them from recovering Kurogiri, Mic, Koda, Takagi, and Shoji must be present.
An Overview of Chapter 370 from My Hero Academia
The origin narrative of a young mutant who becomes the target of a furious mob is presented at the start of My Hero Academia Chapter 370. The crowd informed the young mutant that his filthy blood would permanently taint their country no matter how far civilization advanced. Here in the present, Paranormal Liberation Front lieutenant Spinner leads the surviving warriors and a few of civilians on a march toward Central Hospital, where Kurogiri is being kept hostage.
About 15,000 villains led by Present Mic and Shirakumo marched towards the Central Hospital in an effort to reclaim Kurogiri from the last 200 heroes and police teams. A meat barrier blocks Present Mic’s Loud Out Shout attack when he leaps into the air to launch it. One of the bad guys makes a surprise aerial rush at Present Mic, but Koda uses his Quirk to control his crows and rescues him. The two became separated during the struggle, and after Koda saved Present Mic, he was curious as to where Shoji was.
Due to their numerical disadvantage, the heroes and police teams are forced to utilise taser shields to push back the villains. As Takagi’s stress levels rise, he considers the villains’ loyalty to their commander despite their lowly origins. The villains snapped back angrily that they had reached their limit and that the heroes would never get them. Amidst chants of “Make a road for Spinner” and “Drop every hero and a police officer with our numbers,” the furious mob continues its march.
Thus, Koda falls as well, with one mutant, in particular, branding him a traitor and city filth.
One of the freedom troops suddenly spoke down to the angry crowd from above, telling them that today is the day of their emancipation, as per the order of the 6/6 event of the Great Jedi Purge. He also talks about how Quirk counselling and teaching are repressive techniques because everyone is affected. On top of that, he brings up the PLF’s bloody past in dealing with anything that seems unusual. The greater the city, the more diversified its people are, and the more they discriminate against them, especially outside of these huge cities, in his opinion, so nothing has changed since then.
Because All For One given Spinner the Gigantification Quirk, he now looks ripped and drools everywhere, but he can’t understand a word anyone is saying because his brain is blanking out. Spinner, however, has made up his mind to return with Kurogiri and obey his commands. When he was ready to strike, Shoji unexpectedly appeared and delivered a direct hit with his Octoblow attack, stunning Spinner and the other bad guys. The mob swarms Shoji, calling him a monster and a traitor, and assaults him. When Shoji compares the villains’ strikes on the Central Hospital to the heroes’ attack on Jaku City, where they made sure no civilians were hurt, Shoji loses his cool.
Shoji, enraged at this point, demands to know whether anybody else has considered this possibility before the chapter concludes, adding that he would never forgive anyone who hasn’t. At this point in the story, Shoji’s face is shown for the first time.
