Summary of Black Clover Chapter 341
In the prior chapter of Black Clover, we met some of Ryuzen Seven’s newest recruits, who are now training Asta. In contrast to Ichika, Asta appears to be welcomed with open arms. Meanwhile, Ryuya shows up, to much applause. Asta is asked whether he’s up for another bout, and he readily accepts. Asta is mystified by the Ryuzen Seven’s supernatural might. Then he remembered what Zetten was used for, and he became motivated to master it.
When Ichika comes, she inquires as to Asta’s age, to which he replies, “I’m eighteen,” and she, in turn, shares that she is twenty-four.
According to Asta, he initially mistook her for being his age. He says she looks young, and Ichika wonders whether he’s calling her childish. When Asta inquires about Ryuya, she says he keeps very busy helping to keep the administration stable. Ryuya’s right eye is called Tengentsu, and she believes it can see invisibly. After Ichika praises Ryuya, Asta admits that he is the only reason she can tolerate being with an oddball like him.
She also says that he was the one who saved her life. Asta begins by saying how much he believes in Ryuya, drawing parallels to Captain Yami. She warns Asta not to bring up Yami, and then on to criticise him. Ichika’s answer to the question of why she doesn’t like her brother, Yami, is because he slaughtered their whole family.
