The History of Yami (Chapter 342) in “Black Clover”
Sister Ichika blamed her brother Yami for the deaths of their whole family at the end of Chapter 341. The one-week gap between chapters sparked a fire in the hearts of the audience. Many readers made comparisons to Itachi’s massacre of the Uchiha family in Naruto. Leaks suggest that the next episode would start with a flashback to Yami’s childhood. The alcoholic nature of Yami’s father was revealed, and Yami’s mother apparently passed away shortly after giving birth to Ichika.
Yami’s dad wants to strike Ichika with a wooden sword in one scene. Yami and Ryuya both appear in a flashback scene. In the present, Asta and Ichika have a conflict, however, the flashbacks didn’t show Yami allegedly slaughtering his clan. Asta takes against Ichika in a Black Clover matchup. Nowadays, Ichika warns Asta not to trust Yami since he slaughtered everyone in their tribe when he was thirteen. She elaborates that Yami escaped the bloodbath to join Asta eventually.
Despite this, Asta insists that he has faith in Yami and has no intention of believing her.
Ichika then pulls out her scroll and casts her spell, “Dark Yojutsu: dark shrouded black warrior,” pitting herself against Asta. Keep in mind that these spoilers can’t be verified until the chapter is officially released, so you may want to take them with a grain of salt.
