Trailer for “Fleishman Is in Trouble,” Release Date, Synopsis & Cast Details

FX has published the official teaser for their new limited series, Fleishman Is In Trouble, which will debut on Hulu on November 17. The new programme, adapted from Taffy Brodresser-bestselling Akner’s novel of the same name, features an all-star ensemble that includes Emmy winner Claire Danes and nominees for both the Academy Award and the Emmy, as well as Lizzy Caplan and Jesse Eisenberg. The protagonist of Fleishman’s In Trouble is a newly divorced doctor who is just starting to get the hang of online dating when life throws him a curveball. Toby Fleishman’s current life situation is explained at the start of the video (Eisenberg).

The 41-year-old doctor’s ex-wife handed off the kids a day early, and memories of their breakup flood back. The want to know “How did I get here?” is rekindling, and the boiling, latent rage is starting to bubble to the surface. There were warning indications that the couple was growing apart, but they were mostly ignored, including divergent tastes in sports, different perspectives on the value of one’s work, and the age-old question of whether or not money can buy happiness. According to the teaser, Fleishman Is In Trouble is an all-encompassing tale that explores the many facets of the human experience that serve to shape a person.

The sweetness of first love and friendship is displayed, yet the ever-evolving human emotion of happiness has changed into something bittersweet as anger sets in. Questions about the path one has chosen to take arise out of discontent with current circumstances and the allure of easy wealth. Fleishman and Rachel may be able to find stability through parenthood, new relationships, and the powerful tie of lasting friendships. Brodresser-Akner adapted her work into a limited television series that she developed. The show also stars Adam Brody, Christian Slater, Josh Radnor, Joy Suprano, Ralph Adriel Johnson, Brian Miskell, Michael Gaston, and Juani Feliz.

Young Hannah and Solly, played by Meara Mahoney Gross and Maxim Swinton, are caught in the middle of their parents fight. Brodresser-Akner, Sarah Timberman, Carl Beverly, and Susannah Grant serve as the show’s executive producers. The creative team of Little Miss Sunshine, Valerie Faris and Jonathan Dayton, will direct numerous episodes and serve as executive producers. The debut of Fleishman is in Trouble, a Hulu original will take place on November 17th.
