In light of the events in My Hero Academia Chapter 370, fans of the manga would do well to review the Creature Rejection Clan. The following several chapters will probably focus heavily on the politics of mutants. The upcoming clash between Spinner and Shoji is a pivotal ideological test for both men. This being said, there are references to the Creation Rejection Clan (a mutant-hating religious sect) in My Hero Academia Chapter 370.
Chapter 220, set in the arc involving the Meta Liberation Army, marked their debut. It may be argued that Kohei Horikoshi could have done a better job with the mutant subplot, but it doesn’t mean he ignored what came before. Why Does the Existence of the Creature Rejection Clan Even Matter? My Hero Academia, Chapter 370.
For them, anti-mutant sentiments are symbolically represented by
Despite making just one appearance in the manga, the Creature Rejection Clan’s influence is felt as early as My Hero Academia Chapter 370. The members of this cult are easily identifiable by the skeleton masks and black robes they all wear. Because of their “odd” characteristics, they look down on others who employ Mutant Quirks. The Animal Rejection Clan and the Face Border Clan are just two of the subgroups that have formed inside the larger organisation, as detailed in Volume 23 omake. Terrorism has always been used as a last resort by those who are unpopular with the people. As of this year, most of them are vanishingly small.
In Chapter 220, the Creature Rejection Clan really conducted a battle against the League of Villains. To no one’s surprise, they found Spinner unattractive. The anime adaptation, however, omitted this particular manga sequence. Tomura Shigaraki and his companions wasted no time in dispatching the cult’s adherents.
They were mentioned in the most recent chapter
The confrontation between Spinner and Shoji takes up the entirety of Chapter 370 of My Hero Academia. The former is at the helm as the mutant army makes its way toward a medical facility. Meanwhile, the angry throng spouts out about how much they despise the humans who treated them unfairly. Horikoshi concealed an allusion to the current event in the backdrop of a manga page. Several skull masks, as shown in the above tweet, were being displayed in the exhibition area. The similarities between these masks and those of the Creature Rejection Clan are striking. Although the malevolent group is relatively powerless now, their place in mutant history is still fraught. Spinner’s troops wouldn’t bother toting around skull masks if they weren’t necessary. This demonstrates Horikoshi’s meticulous attention to detail in creating his series.
The anime messed up by omitting so much of Spinner’s story
Reading Chapter 370 of My Hero Academia made me remember how much Spinner material was omitted from the Meta Liberation Army arc by Studio Bones. Due to his demotion to the bit player status, many fans were dissatisfied with the end outcome.
Discrimination towards people like Spinner is seen in the Creature Rejection Clan. The mutant subplot was never the show’s strong suit, and its removal from the anime only served to make the show’s weaknesses more glaring. As of Chapter 370 of My Hero Academia, Horikoshi has shown an interest in concluding the plot. It’s a lot better than ignoring the issue entirely.
