After releasing the teaser trailer & poster for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Marvel Studios has now released the complete storyline for the 1st film in their highly anticipated Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the film, Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang and Evangeline Lilly’s Hope van Dyne will play their superhero couple roles once again. Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer return as Hope’s parents, Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne. Kathryn Newton has joined the cast as Scott Lang’s daughter Cassie, while Jonathan Majors is back in the MCU as Kang the Conqueror after making his MCU debut as He Who Remains in the Season 1 finale of the Disney+ series Loki. With this third instalment, Peyton Reed becomes just the second filmmaker in history—after Jon Watts with the Spider-Man films—to lead a trilogy in the same franchise.
The new description describes how Kang the Conqueror threatens the family as they are sent into the Quantum Realm, which has been prominent in previous Marvel films like as Ant-Man and the Wasp and Avengers: Endgame, where they must battle new opponents and odd animals. This film provides our first view of Kang, a supervillain who can take several forms and hence live in multiple universes simultaneously. No of what happens to his role in this film, he will be back as the main villain in the fifth Avengers film, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. On February 17, 2023, audiences may see Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in cinemas.
