In the previous chapter of Black Clover, readers met three new Ryuzen Seven members who assisted in Asta’s training at Ryuya’s direction. The audience then witnessed Ichika interacting with Asta for the first time. It was encouraging to see that she was able to get along with the boy, despite occasional bouts of annoyance. At the end of the chapter, she also shared a bleak secret about her brother Yami’s history. Review of Chapter 341 of “Black Clover”
In the last chapter of Black Clover, we met some of the new Ryuzen Seven members who would be instructing Asta. In contrast to Ichika, Asta appears to be welcomed with open arms. Meanwhile, Ryuya shows up, to much applause. Asta is asked whether he’s ready for more, and he says that he is. Asta can’t help but marvel at the Ryuzen Seven’s incredible strength without the use of magic.
Then, he remembered how Zetten was put to use and became motivated to master it. When Ichika comes, she inquires about Asta’s age, to which he replies, “I’m eighteen,” and she shares that she is, in fact, twenty-four. Asta claims he mistook her for someone his own age. He says she looks young, and Ichika wonders whether he’s calling her childish.
When Asta inquires about Ryuya, she explains that he keeps himself extremely busy working to maintain government stability. Ryuya’s right eye, which she calls Tengentsu, is the all-seeing eye, according to her. Ichika begins praising Ryuya and explaining to Asta that he is the reason she is putting up with an oddball like him. She also reveals that he was the one who rescued her. Asta begins speaking about how he has always believed in Ryuya, just like he did Captain Yami. Despite telling Asta to keep quiet about Yami, she talks poorly of him herself. When asked why she dislikes her sibling, Ichika says it’s because Yami slaughtered their whole tribe.
As a result of the delay, Chapter 342 of Black Clover will not be available until Monday, October 31, 2022, at 11:00 AM EST.
