Which country study is best?

Locations Around the World Perfect for a Semester Abroad

United States of America
One cannot deny that the United States is among the most diverse nations on earth. From the Atlantic to the Pacific, the 50 states of the United States each have their own unique landscapes, cultures, and histories. Take a road journey across America and you’ll see everything from wooded mountains to rolling plains to glittering coasts to spectacular canyons. Vegas, New Orleans, Miami, and Honolulu all have their own distinct atmospheres and attractions, and of course, the food is American (or at least Americanized).

Seek the finest tacos in California, chow down on some fried chicken in the South, and weigh in on the heated debate between Chicago and New York when it comes to pizza. If you choose to enrol in one of the many excellent American educational institutions, you will quickly learn that American colleges are just as much of a cultural melting pot as the rest of the country. Do you think it would be a great destination to study abroad? Transform your new country into a land of possibility.

Germany
For several reasons, Germany is our third-best country overall and top in Europe for foreign students. From its Baltic coast beaches to the Bavarian Alps, Germany seems to have practically every conceivable European scenery, making it an ideal vacation destination year-round. History is everywhere in Germany, from the Berlin Wall and Holocaust memorials in the city to the enchanted Eltz and Neuschwanstein Castles in the countryside, and you can appreciate it even if you aren’t a history buff.

Go to the Black Forest if you need some ideas for a fairytale, get lost in the maze of canals in Hamburg, and drink beer in the biergartens of Munich at Oktoberfest. You’ll find that Germans are among Europe’s largest fans of bread and that their currywurst, schnitzel, and döner kebab have plenty to be proud of. Studying at one of Germany’s many prestigious institutions is guaranteed to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Canada
What a shame you’re in Canada! Canada’s varied environment is legendary and for good reason. A high-quality camera is required because of the abundance of stunning natural features, such as rocky shores, snowy mountains, wooded lakes, and polar glaciers. Canada is a great place to learn a new language since it is a bilingual country where both English and French are commonly spoken.

However, as Canada is a very cosmopolitan country, you are likely to hear many other languages as well, such as those spoken by Canada’s Indigenous peoples. A welcoming atmosphere and cheerful smiles await you, regardless of your linguistic abilities. You’re welcome to travel to the urban centres of Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal, as well as the breathtaking natural landscapes of Banff, Whistler, and Halifax. To put it simply, it sounds like the perfect environment to get some serious studying done.

Australia
Straya, as the locals call Australia, has surpassed Canada as the best place to go abroad for college in 2022. There’s a lot to see and do in Australia, with its nine unique regions and twenty UNESCO World Heritage sites like the Great Barrier Reef, the Tasmanian Wilderness, and Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Trip highlights include the Daintree Rainforest, the red sand beaches and turquoise seas of Broome, and the Great Ocean Road’s limestone cliffs. Interested in Surfing Lessons? Sydney’s Manly is a great place to surf after class, and Margaret River and Perth are also worth checking out if you want to make surfing a regular part of your life.

Brisbane, Adelaide, and Melbourne all provide exciting city life, but Melbourne is where you’ll find the majority of Australia’s musical activity. Australia is home to many different cultures, including the aboriginal population, and a fervent love of pubs and cafés. To find out why Down Under ranks first on our list of the top places to study abroad in 2018, pack your bags and make your way to Australia.
