The Radleys, a dark comedy Release Date, Synopsis, Cast & Everything you need to know

Almost a year has passed since it was announced that Damian Lewis and Guy Pearce will star in a television series called A Spy Among Friends. The show was right up Lewis’ alley; it was a dramatic action show with a heavy emphasis on action. We are pleased to announce that Lewis will soon be venturing into the realm of supernatural slapstick where he will encounter complex family relationships in Euros Lyn’s The Radleys. The film, which is based on the same-named book by acclaimed author Matt Haig, will be a nice change of pace for the actor, who is best known for his roles in Homeland, Billions, and Wolf Hall.
Lewis, a winner of both an Emmy and a Golden Globe, will play Peter Radley, father of the eponymous family, in The Radleys.

While Peter and Helen are successful at maintaining the impression of a normal family, they are hiding a gory secret from everyone, including their two teenage children: they are vampires. In contrast to the majority of their fellow zombies, this pair has decided to live a lifestyle in which they will not partake in the ritual of consuming human blood, despite how appealing it may be. After years of keeping their secret to themselves, Peter and Helen are forced to come clean when their daughter Clara fights back against a boy who assaults her, awakening her dormant vampirical side. Teenage years are difficult for everyone, but Peter and Helen’s son Rowan is having a much more difficult time of it now that he knows this.

Peter’s identical brother Will (Lewis), who does not share his brother and sister-in-penchant law’s for blood-drinking, has arrived, causing further upheaval. He’s worried that by showing his family the luxuries of the vampire lifestyle, they’ll all give in to their appetites and start feeding on human blood. The project was written by Talitha Stevenson and is based on a script by Jo Brand (The More You Ignore Me) (Late in Summer). Lyn, who has directed several critically acclaimed films, including Netflix’s version of “Heartstopper,” will helm this project.

Lyn and Lewis worked together in 2020 on the sports drama Dream Horse, so this project will be a reunion for the director and his starring actor. For Genesius Pictures, Good Luck to You Leo Grande producer Debbie Gray will work alongside Lewis, who will serve as executive producer for Ginger Biscuit Entertainment. A release date or other casting announcements have yet to be revealed, but production on the feature picture will go up in the United Kingdom in May of 2023.
