The Creeper wakes up once every twenty-three years to scavenge for human remains. Since the release of the first Jeepers Creepers in 2001, the squished, scaled, patchwork creature has become a standard in the horror genre. The original horror film’s success produced a slew of spinoffs that further developed the Creeper mythos. New to the series is Jeepers Creepers: Reborn, a retelling of the classic character that will be available on DVD and Blu-ray on November 15, 2022. The plot of Jeepers Creepers: Reborn centres on Chase and Laine, two friends who decide to go to the Horror Hound event, sometimes known as “the Coachella of cosplay.”
But things take a nasty turn when Laine begins having terrifying visions about the town’s history and the Creeper that hunts its people. As the celebration begins, Laine worries that the Creeper has been roused from his twenty-three-year slumber and will do widespread harm. Watching the film’s trailer is like getting a sneak peek into the sick world of this brand-new horror thriller. The new clip provides us with an introduction to a new environment, an escape room of sorts that is located in an old abandoned house and concentrates on the festival parts of the film via a grisly perspective.
In addition to solving riddles, those locked in the escape room will have to defend themselves from the Creeper. It wasn’t until 2001 that the first instalment in the Jeepers Creepers film series was released. In the first film, Gina Phillips and Justin Long were siblings who encounter the Creeper on their way home from college. Despite negative reviews, the film became a classic of the genre, and its iconic creature, the Creeper, has become a beloved icon of the horror genre. Timo Vourensola helms the upcoming Jeepers Creepers sequel, Reborn. Producers Jake Seal and Michael Ohoven worked with screenwriter Sean-Michael Argo.
Jeepers Creepers: Reborn has an all-star cast that includes Sydney Craven, Imran Adams, Ocean Navarro, Matt Barkley, Alexander Halsall, Jodie McMullen, Georgia Goodman, and Jarreau Benjamin. After Halloween, on November 15, 2022, Jeepers Creepers: Reborn will be available on DVD and Blu-ray. Both the DVD and the Blu-ray may be purchased for $24.98.
