When Jae and Seol finally show up, they are perplexed as to why their boss is in such a hurry. At a later time, Seo enters a different chamber and discovers a guy who has just died after being shot in the heart by a golden arrow that suddenly materialised from behind him. He starts to worry that he could arrive at the scene too late to do anything useful. Jae followed Seo inside and inquired as to the situation. The golden arrow victim is revealed to be Eve Rockfeller, Pandora’s de facto leader and user of the Merlin Relic, as revealed by Seo.
There’s something off in Jae’s mind, and Seo’s research has led him to the conclusion that the Merlin Relic is so powerful it can extract Gungnir from where it penetrated Eve. Seo can’t explain Eve’s seemingly effortless demise. Seol approaches Seo with a request to track Eve’s vitals. Seo agrees, so Seol calls upon Gilda and alters her look. She explains that she has discovered something peculiar about Eve’s body, and Gidla reports this to Seol. Seol says Eve’s spirit departed her body when she was struck by Gungnir, and Gilda confirms this by discovering physical evidence of Eve’s soul departing her body at that very time. However, as Eve’s soul is immortal, she may resurrect herself in another body if her spirit ever leaves this one.
Because it was so difficult for Eve to escape the Gungnir in her original form, Seo is fascinated by how she used her intellect before it died. He continues, saying that Eve acted as though she had been intentionally struck and had died. Being Pandora’s former weapon, Eve is well familiar with Gungnir. Seo explains that in order to stop the Former Majesty, they need to find Merlin. It has left Jae wondering who the Former Majesty is. Seo had picked up on the rumble of Berserk Corpse coming from over the threshold. Since they are in the vicinity of the throne, he invites Seol and Jae to come along.
Illya and Julian are seeing the Berserk Corpse call out reinforcements. Julian advises Illya to maintain defending without going into overdrive, as Seo Joo Heon has instructed. Illya sees that defending is becoming difficult as he and Julian fight hordes of various beasts. While fighting the Berserk Corpse, Seo transformed into a different person by calling upon his mighty weapon.

He is left wondering if the mysterious man is under the command of the throne’s associated equipment or if he is being directed from offstage. Ilya and Julian discuss how it felt to have “him” in their arms. Since the man is so powerful, Julian explains, they need to protect themselves without overextending themselves.
In front of a bright yellow object, Seo announces, “I want to know whether there is something I don’t know.” With a long, yellow, magical rope, the voice informs Seo’s master that the perpetrator has been tied. The man who was bound with ropes seemed like a high-ranking member of a secret society. Seo confronts the man, asking whether or not he has any say over the chair and the body. The odd man is being deliberately unhelpful by claiming ignorance and refusing to provide any information.
