Shinichiro was overjoyed to find Mikey alive at the beginning of Tokyo Revengers chapter 273. Sanzu went over to his younger brother thereafter and told him he remembered the original timeframe. The man with dark hair said that he killed someone to get his abilities and save Mikey. At the end of the chapter, Shinichiro bestowed his time-travel skills upon a young Takemichi.
It’s payback time
On August 13, 2013, the second instalment of Tokyo Revengers, chapter 274, was released. Under the bridge, Shinichiro sought the old man who had bestowed upon him the ability to travel across time. The arrival of the young man found no one present to greet him. While there, he saw that someone had smashed a window and entered his bike store without authorization. Entering the facility, Shinichiro was taken aback to discover a masked man attempting to steal one of his motorcycles. The man with dark hair yelled at the offender. In reality, it was Baji, Mikey’s friend, trying to take the motorcycle out of fear.
Then, out of nowhere, Kazutora materialised behind Shinichiro, shears in hand. Keisuke tried to intervene, but his pal was already too far along; the oldest Sano sibling turned around just in time to take a blow to the head. In his waning moments of awareness, Shinichiro recalled the curse he had received from the first-time traveller. Enveloped Kazutora, a similar shadowy haze could be observed as it had around Mikey when his Dark Impulses were unleashed.
The Real Mikey
In the current day of Tokyo Revenger’s chapter 274, Mikey had already told Takemichi that Shinichiro had passed away soon after bestowing his time-travelling abilities onto him. Every one of the Toman members who had gathered around Manjiro was taken aback. Wakasa, Benkei, and Sanzu all looked downcast as they seemed to know this already.
Mikey continued by saying that his Dark Impulses were brought on by the curse of the first time-leaper.
On the other hand, he wasn’t the only one experiencing erratic and even aggressive behaviour. Manjiro thought that anybody who came into contact with Shinichiro was plagued with an innate desire to cause harm. He suggested that the curse may have affected Kazutora as well. The former Toman commander confided in a buddy that he was beginning to lose his mind to the Dark Impulses. With each passing second, the desire to kill and injure others intensified. Mikey had lost control of his impulses, but he was still dedicated to keeping his buddies safe. He pulled them away, abandoning the crew before he could inflict any harm on them due to his overwhelming impulses.
Words of Takemichi’s vow
Mikey is then shown in chapter 274 of Tokyo Revengers clutching his chest. As the Dark Impulses began to seep out of his body, the child swore he was on the verge of going completely insane. Takemichi confidently told Mikey he could let go now, and Mikey believed him. Mikey could not believe what his friend had just said. Takemichi revealed to Manjiro that he and the other members of the Second Generation Toman gang formed in order to rescue their pal. Mikey could only do this by giving in to his Dark Impulses for the final time. Now that he could see into the future, Takemichi knew he would be okay.
Takemichi was the only one who could save Mikey because of these skills. Mikey and Haruchiyo were caught off guard when a little child made a pledge to break his friend’s curse. When it came time, Takemichi pleaded with Manjiro to release his grip. Before shutting his eyes, the blonde forewarned his pal that he could not predict what would happen. In the last moments of Tokyo Revengers chapter 274, Takemichi was poised to put an end to the battle and Manjiro was encircled by his Dark Impulses.
Thoughts in Concluding
Chapter 274 of Tokyo Revengers is the series’s final instalment, as promised by Ken Wakui. Finally, we know where Dark Impulses and Kazutora’s odd behaviour come from. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, Mikey and Takemichi can settle their score with one last fight. The hero won’t let up until his companion is out of harm’s way from the evil that has engulfed him. The resolve Takemichi showed in this last chapter impressed even Haruchiyo. Takemichi is the only one who can save Mikey, thanks to his ability to foresee the future. But now that Manjiro has let his guard down, fighting him won’t be as simple as it was in earlier chapters. What kind of conclusion Wakui has in store for his incredible comic remains to be seen.
