However, without news of a comeback, many are doubtful that the manga will be updated anytime soon.

A new chapter of Dragon Ball Super has not been released in over two months. Although readers of the manga knew that it would not be continuing in this issue of V Jump, they had hoped that the magazine would provide some information regarding the next arc, perhaps even a rough time frame. On the other hand, they were left wondering if the manga would actually continue. Due to the fact that the last chapter of the Dragon Ball Super manga was published on August 19, 2022, the series is likely to resume in December of that year.
It was stated earlier this year that the Granolah the Survivor Arc will conclude this year and that the following arc would also begin this year. Considering that each chapter of the DBS manga is typically issued once a month, a delay of just one month in the publication of the next chapter would barely qualify as a hiatus. Therefore, the next arc may begin this November or December. It is assumed that the manga will not return from its hiatus in the November issue of V Jump because no information to that effect was included in this month’s edition. Instead, all of the characters from the sequel series were profiled and reintroduced in an Interval Special that was published in the manga on V Jump.
88th chapter of Dragon Ball Super: What to Expect?
Frieza’s debut in Dragon Ball Super chapter 87, The Universe’s Strongest Appears, during Goku and Vegeta’s final struggle against Gas was a major plot shock. The shocking thing was how effortlessly he could defeat the “Universe’s Strongest Fighter,” in contrast to the struggles of Goku, Vegeta, and Granolah. Given that the Room of Spirit and Time transports its occupants to a different dimension, Frieza’s presence there may have disqualified him from participating in Gas’s quest to become the universe’s greatest warrior.
The 10 years he spent training in the chamber gave him the strength to transform into “Black Frieza,” a form so powerful that it allowed him to instantaneously defeat Goku and Vegeta. As a result, starting with Dragon Ball Super episode 88, Frieza is likely to take centre stage as the main enemy in the following arc. Goku and Vegeta could also get some aid from Granolah. The new movie also gave Gohan, Piccolo, and Broly a boost in power, and Broly began training with Whis, suggesting that they will play important roles in the next arc.
