More information regarding the forthcoming chapter of One Piece has been released online, this time in the form of raw scans of the manga pages, after the initial leaks. Given that fresh One Piece leaks tend to appear around the middle of the week before the official release, the latest leaks happened as predicted. The new chapter focuses mostly on Law’s confrontation with Blackbeard and his crew. During this confrontation, Law transforms into a woman and a new Haki power is unveiled.

This new chapter does not continue from the previous one’s cliffhanger about Zoro and the rest of the Straw Hats. Rather, it kicks off with Punk-05 aka Atlas, Luffy, Chopper, Jinbe, and Bonney. In the opening section of the chapter, Vegapunk supplies the four of them with fresh threads. In a short while, they are ambushed by Kuma, a police robot that looks almost identical to Bartholomew Kuma. Luffy is about to assault Kuma when Bonney interrupts, revealing that she is actually the daughter of Bartholomew Kuma. Bonney’s past was also briefly portrayed in a flashback. Blackbeard, along with Jesus Burgess, Van Augur, Doc Q, and Stronger, ambushes Trafalgar Law and his crew in the next chapter.
The chapter’s climax revealed the captains’ Devil Fruit powers.
Law manages to get away to an island, but the four captains and Blackbeard are hot on his trail. This sets up a chapter-long battle between Law and Blackbeard.
Brief History of Law’s Transformation Into a Female Character
Leaks suggest that Doc Q can infect others with his Shiku Shiku no Mi ability. From what we can gather from the disclosures, Doc Q is the one responsible for Law’s gender transition. There may be some mystery as to how a sickness fruit can transform a guy like Law into a woman, but what is certain is that Law was able to break free and revert back to his male form. According to Law, a strong Haki can counteract the effects of a Devil Fruit. This grants those who utilise Haki an additional source of strength.
It’s hardly unexpected, though, as Haki is the only skill that can deal damage to someone using a Logia-type Devil Fruit. Because of it, this progress makes sense as a logical continuation of the aforementioned capability. Keep in mind, though, that these spoilers should probably be taken with a pinch of salt until they are officially verified. Meanwhile, Van Augur can transfer individuals with his Wapu Wapu no Mi ability. And now, at long last, Stronger possesses the Mythical Zoan of Uma Uma no Mi, Pegasus as a Model.
After being attacked, Law swims to a nearby island, but the other captains and Blackbeard soon follow.
