Apple TV+ has now published the full trailer for Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me, following up on the September teaser. This documentary will follow Selena Gomez, one of the youngest global superstars, as she navigates the highs and lows of her career and personal life in the public eye. This documentary film will not only showcase exclusive behind-the-scenes videos of Selena’s album recordings, but will also go deeper into topics like as her lupus diagnosis, mental health, and the awakening that led her to become an activist.
In early November, as was previously announced, fans and AppleTV+ users will be able to watch it online. From what we can gather from the teaser for Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me, the pop star lifestyle is really a sideshow to the main event. Gomez will be frank about her life in the spotlight as a child and her painful awakening to the fact that she has been working nonstop since she was a little child. The young actress, a Disney sensation since she debuted in Barney & Friends when she was just 10 years old, is a child actor. Her role as Alex in Wizards of Waverly Place catapulted her to fame throughout the world.
Selena will also discuss her struggles with mental health in the documentary. The documentary Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me also follows the singer as she explores her desire to use her platform to advocate for social justice. Since becoming UNICEF’s youngest-ever ambassador in 2009, Gomez has been a strong supporter of humanitarian causes both in and outside of the United States. For entertainment purposes, the previous several years have been great for Selena Gomez fans.
The worldwide music sensation released the critically praised album Rare in 2020, participated in the hugely successful Hulu series Only Murders in the Building, and tried her hand at some risky dishes on the fourth season debut of the HBO Max show Selena + Chef back in August. Alek Keshishian, who is most well-known for his work with Madonna, directed Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me. He directed one of the most well-known documentaries of all time, Madonna: Truth or Dare, and he co-wrote one of the few films the pop icon has supervised, W.E. Keshishian had previously collaborated with Selena on the music video for her song “Hands to Myself.”
On November 4, Apple TV+ will launch Selena Gomez’s documentary My Mind and Me.
