Paradise City, the next action picture from Saban Films, has a brand new teaser that will make you love Bruce Willis and Die Hard even more. This new teaser provides us with a taste of the action movie starring some of the most famous actors in the action genre, including the recently retiring Bruce Willis. On November 11th, 2022, Paradise City will be available in cinemas, digitally, and on-demand. Ian Swan, played by Willis, is a bounty hunter who, in the film Paradise City, is shot and disappears into the harrowing blue seas off the coast of Maui before everyone gives up hope of finding him alive. Swan’s son Ryan (Blake Jenner), ex-partner (Stephen Dorff), and a local detective (Praya Lundberg) set out to track down his killers after his death.
However, Ryan and his colleagues may have reached rock bottom when they were threatened by a nasty and merciless power broker played by the legendary John Travolta. When the three finally reach Paradise City, a heavily fortified island settlement, they may find an unexpected ally there. Willis and Travolta, who both appeared in the groundbreaking 1994 Quentin Tarantino picture Pulp Fiction, are just two of the many legendary actors included in the new film. However, it appears that in Paradise City, the two will come into a closer, and maybe more hazardous, touch.
This new teaser provides a tantalising glimpse at the legendary meeting of two great acting talents, with plenty of action sequences and beachside chases. At the end of the preview, there’s a scene of them facing off, weapons drawn. Travolta’s character responds, “You’ve been hunting me for 10 years.” In his signature style as an action hero, Willis responds, “I’m a bit OCD.” And now, the (potentially) great gun battle begins. Chuck Russell helms and co-wrote the script for the upcoming picture alongside Corey Large and Edward Drake. Given that Willis and Travolta are both in the picture, the decision to give it a R rating for bloody violence and foul language is not shocking. The premiere of Paradise City will take place on November 11, 2022, just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.
