The Dragon Prince, a smashing blockbuster on Netflix, is coming back to our screens on November 3 after a three-year hiatus. Now, a full-length teaser has been published by Netflix, giving viewers a taste of what they may expect to see when they return to Xadia next month. Opening the trailer is Viren, who died after he jumped from a roof at the end of Season 3. Claudia tells him that he has been dead for two years. She eventually tells her father that the magic would only keep him alive for 30 days, but that Aaravos, Viren’s mystery acquaintance, can save him. Viren was the main adversary for the majority of the show, with Claudia playing a more nuanced but nonetheless antagonistic role.
Claudia is faithful to her father and does everything he asks of her without question, despite her supposedly kind nature. Even though Claudia and Viren are already formidable black wizards, adding Aaravos to their ranks will make them even more formidable foes. Subtitled “The Mystery of Aaravos,” Season 4 will focus heavily on the enigmatic Elf wizard.
The teaser also gives us our first look at an elder King Ezran, who informs his people that the Dragon Queen, along with her son Zym (whom Ezran formerly travelled with), would soon arrive in Katolis.
Sadly, Callum can’t enjoy this brief reunion because Rayla isn’t there to share it with him. As the trailer’s action begins, we also catch sight of a mature and somewhat bigger Zym, among many other returning and brand-new characters. Additionally, Ezran discusses in depth why violence is counterproductive to achieving the harmony and affection we all need. Rayla’s return at the end of the trailer is the most thrilling part, as she tells Callum, who is still very much in love with her, that he looks “good” and then proclaims, “so much has occurred since then.” There’s a lot left unsaid in the teaser, but it promises an exciting season of television. The teaser also proves that the show’s quality has not diminished in the interim.
Follow along as Elf assassin Rayla, together with Prince Callum and the soon-to-be-king Ezran, strive to rescue the Dragon prince and return him to his mother in The Dragon Prince. As humans, elves, and dragons all finally learn to coexist in peace after centuries of fighting, the events in season four should prove to be riveting. An extremely strong foe, like Aaravos, has been implied to be, would be required to really endanger such tranquilly.
Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond devised the show, which features Jack De Sena as Callum, Paula Burrows as Rayla, Sasha Rojen as Ezran, Jason Simpson as Viren, Racquel Belmonte as Claudia, Jesse Inocalla as Soren, Erik Todd as Dellums and Aaravos. Netflix renewed the programme for four more seasons back in 2020, so viewers will have three more seasons to look forward to once the upcoming Season 4 debuts. On November 3, we’ll have the return of the Dragon Prince for a full nine episodes.
