Scott Derrickson, whose credits include Sinister, Doctor Strange, and The Black Phone, is set to direct from a script by Zach Dean. In addition to helming the film, Derrickson will also have a role in producing it as a member of Crooked Highway alongside C. Robert Cargill and Sherryl Clark.
