Fans of One Piece were shocked by various revelations in the most recent chapter, including the fact that Vegapunk has six separate bodies, much like Naruto’s Pain. The Straw Hats’ initial contact with a Vegapunk was the one and only Punk-02, also known as Lilith. The unique personalities of each Vegapunk quickly become apparent; Lilith, whose name has the connotation of wickedness, is far from being a benevolent spirit.
There’s also the fact that Jewelry Bonney is the daughter of Warlord and Revolutionary Army commander Bartholomew Kuma. Bonney also revealed that Vegapunk was responsible for transforming Kuma into a cyborg. As a result of Bonney’s revelation, Luffy, Chopper, and Jinbe were able to see for themselves some of Vegapunk’s remarkable works of art. They meet the villain known as Punk-06, Atlas, or Wrath. Even though Atlas seems like a kid, Luffy claims he’s as large as Kaido.
Kaku stated at the end of this new chapter that CP0’s ultimate objective is to get rid of every Vegapunk. A classic fight between Rob Lucci and Luffy from the Water 7 Saga might be revived if this happens.
