About Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest
Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is a Japanese manga series written and storyboarded by Hiro Mashima, with artwork by Atsuo Ueda. It’s a follow-up to Mashima’s Fairy Tail series, and it follows wizard guild squad leader Natsu Dragneel and his companions as they strive to fulfil a century-old goal. Kodansha USA acquired the manga for an English publication in North America when it first appeared on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket manga app in July 2018. Japan has published ten tankbon volumes as of November 2021. An anime adaptation for television has been announced.
Natsu Dragneel and the other members of the Fairy Tail wizard guild set out towards the northern continent of Guiltina a year after the destruction of Zeref and Acnologia to complete the 100 Years Quest, which has been unfinished for over a century. The party learns that their mission is to imprison a band of dragons whose combination might rival that of Acnologia and which poses an existential danger to the Earth.
