The fandom may take a breather with chapter 272 of Tokyo Revengers after the previous few painful chapters they’ve been put to. The only real problem with this chapter is that Mikey seems to have reawakened his Dark Impulses. After many heartbreaking chapters, though, seeing Shinichiro and Manjiro laughing together was the highlight. Next time around, it looks like Shinichiro will go on with his trip in this alternate universe. This may provide light on the origins of the Dark Impulses or explain why Sanzu turned out to be the elder Sano’s trigger. Nonetheless, readers of Tokyo Revengers Chapter 272 are anticipating that the series will maintain its current upbeat tone.
A few hours ago, Tokyo Revengers Chapter 272 was released, and it marked the end of the original chronology. When Shinichiro returned to 1999 from his fatal encounter with the first-time traveller, he was startled to find Mikey still alive. The homeless man was telling the truth; he had the power to give Mikey a fresh start and avoid the incident that put him in a coma. In the last episode, we saw Shinichiro’s encounter with the first time-leaper and the subsequent acquisition of his abilities. When he realised there was no hope, the young guy with dark hair went back in time to the day Mikey had fallen down the stairs. Chapter 272 of Tokyo Revengers continued Shinichiro’s trip in this new reality and also provided further clues as to why he was able to travel across time.
In the final chapter, what occurred? (Recap of Last Chapter 271)
Shinichiro and Takeomi went to the original time-location leaper’s under a bridge to begin Tokyo Revengers chapter 271. For Shinichiro to acquire the ability to time travel, the homeless man said, he must first murder the former. Despite his success in eliminating the elderly man, Shinichiro was unable to use time travel. At the end of the chapter, he leapt from a bridge and found himself four years in the past.
What, am I dreaming?
The events of chapter 272 of Tokyo Revengers begin with Shinichiro waking up at his house with his family and seeing Mikey playing with his model aeroplane. Manjiro rushed over to the oldest Sano sibling, who was too surprised to react and kicked him in the face. The young guy blacked out for a while and awoke up many hours later, wondering if his lucid dream was real. Takeomi contacted Mikey to let him know that Shinichiro was fine once he woke up. The time traveller checked the date and saw that it was July 30, 1999, exactly four years before he went over the bridge.
Manjiro walked in, embarrassed that he had just kicked his brother, explaining that he had counted on Shinichiro dodging like always. The oldest Sano sibling was so moved he started crying as he held Mikey. Manjiro was scared that he had seriously hurt his older brother with his kick.
When Shinichiro realised he was awake, he asked Mikey if he wanted to go on a motorbike trip. The time traveller reflected on his predicament as they travelled through the metropolis. The period of his accident had already gone, therefore he understood this was his second chance to safeguard Mikey. Shinichiro believed his younger brother when he said he was passionate about bikes. The man with black hair listened to the siblings and wondered if things had changed for the better as they discussed the future.
Awakening of the Dark Impulses
After Shinichiro, Mikey, Takeomi, and Sanzu got back from their sightseeing trip, the next episode of Tokyo Revengers began. Despite Manjiro’s misgivings, the time-leaper hurried into the kitchen, where he was sure to find his grandfather and sister. Shinichiro was so happy to have his family back together that he volunteered to help out with the housework.
Someone was pleading with Mikey to stop as the young man mopping the floor. Fearing the worst, he hurried outdoors, only to discover Baji and Senju cowering in terror as they watched Mikey hurt Haruchiyo.
A shadowy halo appeared around the blonde youngster, portending the emergence of his darker tendencies. Shinichiro confronted Mikey later that night, demanding to know why Mikey had attacked his friend with such brutality. Manjiro, like his sibling, was perplexed and said he could not understand his own reaction. Mikey sought to make amends with his sibling, but Shinichiro insisted he apologises to someone else first. The siblings made their way to the hospital to check on Sanzu.
What set off Shinichiro
Mikey eventually asks Haruchiyo for forgiveness in Tokyo Revengers chapter 272. Mikey eventually left the room since Sanzu still wasn’t responding to him. Knowing how terrible what Mikey did was, Shinichiro begged Haruchiyo to forgive him and keep on being their buddy. Sanzu assured Shinichiro that Manjiro could always count on his friendship and extended a hand.
As a gesture of gratitude, the older lad grasped his hand, activating his abilities and bringing him back to the present. Shinichiro panicked, worrying that his brother might not have made it through the last four years. A motorbike pulled up to the time traveller’s workshop as he frantically peered about. Chapter 272 of Tokyo Revengers concluded with Shinichiro smilingly watching his brother ride away on a motorcycle.
