If you’re a fan of Marvel, you’ve had a fantastic year. We’ve had great coming-of-age tales like Ms Marvel and daring genre experiments like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is, nonetheless, one of Marvel’s most highly awaited movies. As the second action-packed teaser for the sequel dropped, a new 4DX poster for Wakanda Forever was released, hinting at the identity of the film’s potential successor to the Black Panther mantle. The ad features a slew of A-listers, including Shuri (Letitia Wright), Namor (Tenoch Huerta), Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o), Okoya (Danai Gurira), Queen Mother (Angela Bassett), and M’Baku (Winston Duke). They’re clustering around the new Black Panther, who has yet to reveal himself.
The billboard depicts a somewhat worn Wakanda being conquered by Namor’s undersea realm of Talocan, and it’s full of great little details like this. Namor’s crown/headgear in the heart of the battle, and two of his army troops around the film’s title, are two of the more eye-catching features. While there are many unanswered issues about Wakanda Forever, the passing of Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther raises the stakes. A resolution to this MCU enigma has been hinted at in both the new trailer and this 4DX poster. The new Black Panther suit, all sleek black and gold armour were revealed for the first time.
The latest clip suggests that Shuri will be taking up the mantle, although this might be a red herring and another character will actually be wearing the armour. The biggest mystery about the film is deepened by this poster. Wakanda will have its hands full with Namor, who wants to take over the surface world, no matter who the new Black Panther is. Even in the film’s trailers, the city of Wakanda is shown submerged under the sea. Namor, like his comic book namesake, is a mutant in the MCU, as was recently discovered. The new spin that Huerta gives to one of Marvel’s oldest characters is sure to be fascinating. It sounds like Wakanda Forever will be a really moving event.
The performance by Boseman as Black Panther set a new standard. Incorporating new characters like Namor and Ironheart, the film hopes to both pay tribute to his legacy and advance the MCU. There will be a focus on family history, individuality, and the resilience required of a group to persevere in the face of tragedy in this upcoming film. This is a 4DX special piece of art, and you can actually sense the gravity of the situation. With features like their motion-immersive seats, 4DX has provided moviegoers with a really one-of-a-kind cinematic experience. It looks like an epic sequel, and it would be great to witness it in this manner. On November 11th, you can see Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in cinemas.
