Even though Eiichiro Oda’s popular series is on hiatus this week, the editor’s notes for Chapter 1062 of One Piece have already been released. These notes don’t always reveal everything that’ll happen in the next chapters, but they’re usually solid predictors of what an arc will or won’t touch. The current editor’s note for Chapter 1062 of One Piece has sparked renewed calls for the series’ regular publication. Even if this hint won’t be fulfilled in the next episode, viewers can be certain that the tale will finally start filling in a key gap in the series’ backstory. The editor’s comment for Chapter 1062 of One Piece almost indicates that Void Century will be the focus of the Egghead Island arc.
The insinuation
In One Piece Chapter 1062, we’ll learn more about Vegapunk and their island, but subsequent chapters will start to focus on the Void Century. With the most recent editor’s note tease making such a direct reference to this mysterious era, readers have high hopes that future instalments in the series will provide a wealth of new knowledge and background mythology.
In a note from the editor, As the saying goes, “Luffy and his gang are taken aback!” The world back then was…? ” Fans are split on whether or not this is meant to be a Void Century tease, with some insisting it clearly is. An attentive viewer has observed that, given Jewelry Bonney’s recent decision to join the rest of the Reverie cast, the tease might just as easily be referring to that show as it does to the Void Century. There’s also the reality that the present world knows virtually little about the so-called Void Century. The fact that the Rio Poneglyphs are supposedly an accurate account of the events that transpired in the Void Century lends more credence to this theory.
This, along with the fact that the Global Government need Nico Robin to decipher the Poneglyphs, provides a compelling counterargument to the assertion. Certain may argue that the Poneglyphs are necessary to understand the Void Century, but this is readily refuted by the fact that some people have knowledge of this era even without studying them. One such person is Zunesha, who was a Nakama of Joy Boy and who lived for around a millennium, i.e., through the Void Century. One more frequently held belief is that Im-sama is originally from the Void Century. In his conversation with Gosho Aoyama, Oda presented a point that stands as the strongest rebuttal to the editor’s letter teasing anything except Void Century facts. The Detective Conan series, written by Aoyama, is a global phenomenon under the title Case Closed.
Oda’s insinuation that the Void Century is the next series mystery to be unravelled is a major takeaway from this discussion. When taken together with the aforementioned editor’s comment, One Piece Chapter 1062 seems to be hinting at an upcoming discussion of the Void Century. Other interpretations are possible, but when you put together Oda’s interview tease and the editor’s comment from One Piece Chapter 1062, it’s impossible to deny the inescapable conclusion that the Void Century will be discussed.
